This is awesome. Mostly the figures. I would buy this if the figures were an OD Green olive ish colour and the Ramp was gray.

I have been trying to send you an email. I wanted to know if you could show your detailed FOW Based Infantry. I saw two on a youtube video and would like to see the rest. Do you have a video or article with pictures on how to do the detailed based infantry? I paint ok, but my basing is lousy. Thanks

Hi, thanks for reaching out. I’m afraid that was a longtime ago and I don’t play foe any more 😀

My method was to glue the minis on, use Vallejo pumice paste to build the texture, paint Earth colour, wash dark earth colour, dry brush light earth colour, use pva to glue scatter flock down. Done

Great paint jobs,...it's too bad the models weren't worthy of your efforts. It looks as if the mold makers were a bit lazy around the tracks and turret joining areas. I have heard of modelers cutting the tracks apart and casting the better sections in resin, then after introducing a bend and removing some guide teeth assembling cast parts onto the offensive areas in front and back, using CA glue.

I just started painting Germans for Bolt Action/Konflikt '47 and I'll have to pick this one up. Also, anyone who can paint good faces on Italeri/Warlord models has my respect. My Bolt Action Grenadiers have faces only the Fatherland could love - and my painting doesn't improve the rather grotesquely sculpted features (don't even get me started on the hands).

Nice review! I don’t suppose you ever got around to that Waffen SS paint set review, did you? (No sign of it on a Channel search) I’m looking to start some for Bolt Action, as Warlord is releasing the “British/Canadian Sectors” book, and I need some to face off against my Canadians! Cheers!

Very nice video, one historic point though...the Higgins boats had a fourth crew member. The engineer, he was responsible for the mechanical operation of the boat. My uncle was a coxswain on one.
