Intense states women have been dying because they can’t get the medical treatment they need because doctors are afraid they’ll lose their license or might even be thrown in jail. Think about it IF Trump deports 15 million people people who ARE working at jobs most Americans don’t like AND paying taxes while they do it (local sales taxes state sales tax property taxes when renting, Social Security and Medicare if they have a fake social Security number). Where are the replacements for those workers going to come from? The Republicans believe it’s going to come from all the babies they’re forcing women to have. (In 12 states Republicans have already rolled back child labor laws, allowing children to work longer hours, and in dangerous occupations). Despite the number of children CURRENTLY available for adoption and involved in social service FOSTER PROGRAMS because their parents can’t take care of them and/or abuse them is phenomenal and ALSO costs the taxpayers money. Those are FACTS Christians never stop to think about when they’re pushing their religious philosophy upon others.

Please vote Blue and Yes to Amendment 4. Women deserve privacy in their pregnancy health decisions. It is between a woman and her doctor. Politicians make terrible doctors. You are entitled to your own beliefs. You are not entitled to impose your religious beliefs or others on other people. 67% of Americans are pro-choice and support Roe v Wade which is what Amendment 4 would restore. 6 weeks is too extreme and is increasing maternal mortality and/or a woman's ability to have future children due to NOT have abortions when needed and causing infections and damage to their reproductive organs if they don't get the care they need.

That's my sticking point. The word viability, which is generally 24+ weeks. That's just too late. 6 weeks is too short though. I think 12-15 (we had 15) was a good middle ground. I'm not personally for them, I'd never personally support one unless the mother's life was in danger, but I think it should be allowed and a right up until 12-15 weeks. But.... until viability? And an amendment that can't be easily undone? I don't think I'm voting yes.

@@jonny-b4954 No dear, it's 23-24 weeks or LESS. 67% of Americans supported Roe v Wade which was up until viability which is 23-24 weeks and all doctors agree on those weeks. A woman deserves a Right to privacy, a right to bodily autonomy and a right to reproductive freedom. Politicians make terrible doctors. Don't like abortions, don't have one. Otherwise, mind your own business. Another person's pregnancy is none of your business nor is it the business of the government prior to 24 weeks. AFTER viability, I agree, for life of mother or fetal abnormality which is basically what Roe v Wade ensured and 93% of women abort prior to 13 weeks, 6% 14-24 weeks. Only 1% are occurring after 24 weeks and again it's due to fetal abnormalities or risk of death to the mother which should be decided by the woman's doctor, not government, federal or local.

The private decision with a healthcare provider for the woman starts before she gets pregnant. She can discuss birth control methods that work for her and not have children she doesn’t want to begin with. Trying to get an abortion after the fact is selfish and irresponsible. There are exceptions of course such as the mother’s life being in danger; incests and rapes. This amendment seeks to legalize killing of babies just because they are an inconvenience to their parents. Might as well legalize murders and let violent criminals out of prison who are currently serving life sentences.
