Battlestar Galactica '78 is sometimes describes as a Star Wars rip-off. One thing is certain, the Star Wars theme goes well with the intro to the show!

The original Star Trek tv show back in 1966 had a theme that was even more different sounding from the 1987 STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION them than Star Wars was from Battlestar. Imagine seeing the intro to the 1966 Star Trek with the NEXT GENERATION theme or seeing the Next Generation theme with the intro to the original Star Trek.

Imagine an alternate universe where Richard Hatch was the actor for Luke Skywalker and Dirk Benedict was the actor for Han Solo? (Richard might have been too old. Mark Hammill was very young and Luke was only supposed to be about 20 years old and he was in his early 30s)
