I have been playing video games since i was a kid on NES i am 31 now, i see it as a hobby instead of mindlessly watching T.V. Eventually you get sick of the same old shit, look for something different and creative. I'll prob grab this game, maybe check out Star Citizen, Detroit (on ps4), Life is Strange, Heavy Rain, Metro series etc... another great turn based strategy game is endless space.

I am a huge fan of the Show and love Strategy games so i was sooooo happy to see its done well. The fact that the colonies have to be actively protected because otherwise you loose support and money is fantastic and kinda gives me this sense of urgency. Also it satisfy me to see that all planets but maybe 1 are completly happy and pour massive money into your fleet as well as praise you. To me those 40 bucks were well spend.

Good Review, Thank you. The game is much better now with updates and DLC's fixing those little issues. So fun, strategic and immersive. I only started playing a month ago and I addicted to this game! And there are online Tournaments!

Great review as ever. Have seen someone playing some of this on KZbin. Not sure what their difficulty setting was but, while I was watching at least, they never seemed to be at much risk of losing, either the war or a battle. Does the game offer a challenge?

Great review. Checked for the second time. Launched today on the ps4 with pro support. Big fans of the show. As soon as I checked the controls and performance are ok with the ps4 pro I'm starving for Battlestar galáctica.

Sounds like a riot. It hurts my heart to see so many strategy games have a lack of Challenge in the AI/skirmish element. After beating deserts of kharak I played 2 1v7 games and stomped the AI (admittedly I got sloppy in game 2 took on the final carrier solo and died to a couple of railguns that I hadn't noticed when I used my aircraft to cleanse/prep the arena). Likewise grey goo and ashes failed to provide a sufficiently potent foe for those of us who don't like to deal with human opponents (mostly due to the drama or massive experience gap vs mono-gamers)

Great review! As someone who really loves space strategy games and sunk huge chunks of my youth playing them on my parents PC in the 90s, this sounds fantastic. I really hope this makes it to consoles I think this type of game is sadly unrepresented on consoles - we are not all fps twitchers with 5 second attention spans - some of us just can't justify the expense of a PC in order to get decent strategy games.

Battlestar Galactica was an amazing show no doubt about it. As far as this game is concerned, it looks like a fun title. It definitely has its issues. The game is still very enjoyable nonetheless. I do look forward to buying it. Thanks so much Karak!

Thanks for the review. Big Battlestar TV fan but wont be buying. Not having the same sound effects for the viper and ship battles as the show and Generic McGeneric man was a deal breaker. Maybe having the story follow the Pegasus and Admiral Cain during the same timeline as the show would have been a better idea.

I got this game on xbox as it wad on sail and thought i would get get better proformance. At 1080p no dips in fps. And tbo after about 30 mins of getting use to the controls its fine. But wtf there is no cylon campane i feel robed
