I hated see in the Pegasus destroyed, but the Pegasus coming to the Rescue of the Galactica is one of the best scenes in the history of Television. The way the music ends and every thing is quiet as you watch Galactica take a beating and the Pegasus comes in with every gun firing.

To the people on New Caprica, there was no reason for them to believe that the fleet was coming back for them. Maybe Saul and a few believed in Bill Adama because that is just not who he is, but I bet their hope was getting weaker like a dying fire, and then they get a confirmation that Adama is really coming back to save them, or die trying. Amazing scene

The reimagined BSG universe can be so unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time. We can sympathize (and some of us may have personally experienced) living under foreign occupation; but then you’re reminded that the Resistance is communicating with an orbital Raptor who is communicating with a Battlestar light years away. 😂 Our descendants are going to see this show and laugh at how we thought this technology was pure fiction.

In my opinion he did. Lee brought up a good point during his trial in saying that, if Baltar had chosen to resist, the Cylons more than likely would've destroyed them then and there.

I really didn't like it, I mean Saul had way to much back story, same with Galen...now Sam was supposedly a great athlete, so did he play pyramid in college, high school, youth leagues? One would assume fans wanted to know his whole history, so if cavil planted these final 5 with false memories, what about all the people around them? Maybe the other 4 with anonymous backgrounds, but Sam was like the tom brady of caprica! For gods sake...so yeah that was weak writing made up on the fly to make the plot more shocking, still a great show tho!
