Нужно вникать в лор самой вселенной (Russia 2028) и игры Escape from Tarkov по которой сняли сериал, чтобы понять его смысл. Могу довольно поверхностно сказать, что происходит тут. Сериал по игре про войну чвк BEAR(Русские) с чвк USEC(США), Бир представляют интересы правительства России, а Юсек интересы TerraGroup, террагруп в свою очередь являются холдингом, держащим сотни дочерних предприятий, якобы создающих миру только добро, когда на деле они творят темные делишки, и планируют развязать в мире апокалипсис, начиная с России. В том оранжевом кейсе, что крутился последние две серии содержатся неопровержимые доказательства того, что TerraGroup - зло, и в интересах обеих чвк этот кейс заполучить себе, таким образом BEAR смогут доказать злые намерения TG, и в последствии снять неприкосновенность с них(если я правильно понял), а USEC доставят его обратно в TerraGroup и те смогут спокойно дальше строить свои козни. Конкретно в последней серии появились новые ребята, они как раз и проделали дыру в стене, впустив внутрь порта бандитов, пока неизвестно, чьи интересы они представляют, но известно, что скорее всего это Black Division(вообще не ясно, кто это, в самой первой игре по вселенной Russia 2028 - Contract Wars, затрагивается это название) С их нашивкой ещё обычно Никита Буянов(Ген. Директор Escape from Tarkov - игры, по которой снят сериал) гоняет.

Apart from being a cinematic masterpiece with amazing realistic combat, this movie does a great job of delivering a clear message about war and the similarities of the two fighting sides. It teaches you that there is no black and white, everything is a shade of gray; and when picking who to fight for, even if you chose the "brighter" side, you will still fight people with similar principles, opinions, and people who you'd call friends if you had met in different circumstances. I feel like a lot of movies/series nowadays don't try to deliver any meaningful message, and that is a true shame. Absolutely brilliant film!

In war there is no real happy ending. Maybe some happy stories that don't end in tragedy but as a whole there is no happiness. I say this because scaled down you cannot really have a happy ending even when you scale down conflicts to personal level. This is because someone, somewhere, always suffers (like even in World War 2, you'd think moustache man biting his own bullet would be something good for everyone but it isn't. His family, even distant relatives, have been living with that stigma and most opted never to have kids. And these people only have the guilt of sharing genes with that muppet)

I think the best things that make this short movie so different than Hollywood films is how intense every fire fight is. It showed how real they are and how confusing and hectic it all is... the main cast dyeing randomly without any screen time or in any "badass" fashion... how quickly and early into the fighting did they start to run low on ammo.. the malfunctions of the guns and the use of various equipment on their gearset/belts.. instead of a person peaking a corner and firing 1-5 shots and killing one person and that's it, there's wide shots of extremely close CQB of spray and prays, holding guns around the corner without peaking, prefiring, shooting through objects or the corners of the walls, THE USE OF SUPRESSION to move forward in a fight even if they mag dumped a hallway and killed no one, the dust and environment dynamically reacting to the gun fight and over all painting every encounter like an intense and scary event. Overall the effects for everything from bullet ricochet pings, muzzle flashes, sounds, grenade explosions, voice comms and random banter/chatter were all realistic with little to no hollywood flare and honestly made the scenes far more immersive, intense and watchable.

The way how it matched the way Tarkov is, is outstanding. TerraGroup, BEAR, and USEC, it all matched. BEAR and USEC working together sometimes, the weaponry, the lines, even down to the way the soldiers acted. Very great film, and I recommend a 10/10 for general story. Good job, Battlestate!

I love it. This is better than a lot of Hollywood movies because of the realism like the tactics used, the call-outs, injuries, etc. Also the fact that there is no hero that just blasts through everyone and that people are dying everywhere on both sides. I am lost for words how gritty, cold hearted this movie was with the atmosphere of war. And to think this film was mainly related to a game, I am astounded how they've pulled off a movie with plenty of characters, plenty of action, and just overall entertainment value. I know. Ryan was renowned for its tight angles and dull, unglorified colors, and this show matches that pretty well. Both manage to capture the confusing, panicked nature of battle without glorifying the destruction in any way. This show is super realistic, and there's great story and script as well. I wish Hollywood would make more movies like this. Smart, real, immersive, and tense. No using swords against guns, because that always works so well. The only scene like that in this show was when Skif lost all his weapons and ammo and resorted to a survival axe. In American Hollywood, the main character would have carried a gun for show, but immediately abandoned it at the start of the battle, using a sword or knife as a primary weapon, and that for some reason always works. Maybe because the protagonist's opponents run toward their target while shooting, allowing the main character to use their knife. So, all in all, a great show, Raid. Very cool, very realistic.

@Squeaker 2010 oh yeah tbh fortyone's voice has to be the best for USEC, really sounds like the average grunt. I mean that as a good thing!

This would be hard because USEC are absolute villains here. You can't show them as good guys when they kill for big company that makes secret biological and chemical weapon

@@crni_bombarder8352 I think you missed the point, a BEAR and a USEC gave up their duty and fought together in this film to survive. Can't really say that they're absolute villains I think. However I think that idea for a film is still very doable regardless of the whole 'USEC bad/just following orders.' Who said we needed to show USEC in a good light? Let's watch a new film made by Battlestate Games where it shows all of USEC and TerraCorps shady practices maybe in the perspective of some PMC guard or scientist working for them, would be some nice insight.
