I was unable to beat it, but only because this game was A-symmetric to the games I was use to in which you can't control your ships quite as precisely and it was somewhat every ship for himself, and so I needed to learn about fleet formations.

@@huskythedinosaur1592 I'm VERY sure this mission cannot be beaten. What you describe is already standard BSM protocol (i.e. you gotta assign repair duties when you start every map), and it only prolongs the inevitable. Not to mention the unpatched version of this mission disables engine and gun repairs.

This is the older version of the Yamato. They refitted her for better AA. However, it still should've had said AA configuration for this mission.

Its because of the Engine,they had to lower down the reg so that everything could run smooth,this is a very old gams,not like warthunder where every tiny detail is added,they added enough to the point were the basics were there

When Yamato was first deployed Into service it did, the Japanese removed them around 44/45 to fit the AA turrets. They were... Below average in reality poor rate of fire and crappy angles of fire I might add.
