I love the little snippets of story man. Really pushes the feeling of how terrifying battle armor is on the field of combat, especially in tight quarters like a city. Both this one and the bit in the amazon video really showcase how a well trained and disciplined infantry or battle armor force can tear apart armor and/or mechs alike with little to no loss in proper cover

Hello Frog. I have encountered Grenadiers before. Nasty battle, that one. I should have been alert to the chance that my opponent would use stealth suits against me. I fell back with my forces from his attack, only to find out that it was not as large as I had expected. Just as I was about to deploy my forces from the cover of the buildings, they were practically swarmed by Grenadier Battle Armor. Having already taken damage, the Mechs were prime targets for such attacks, since I had pulled by my worst damaged units into the cover of the 'town', or small city. The result of the battle was a 'loss' for me, but was a 'near run' thing in the end. I was able to easily repulse the attackers outside the urban area, but too serious losses within its environs. That was about the LAST time that I sent Mechs into an urban setting without suits of my own to clear their path and new Assembly area in advance. It could have been much worse, and despite my opponent's best efforts, didn't result in the lop-sided victory he had anticipated. Although he 'won' the battle, both our forces were mauled sufficiently to spend months rebuilding, replacing, and resupplying our units. A rather pointed lesson in the calculus of War.

I think the resounding answer is yes, keep the bit of fiction with technical overview, & history! It reminds me a Shrapnel's short stories over on Battletopia & would love to see mech overviews with a good chunk of fiction attached. For me it makes the technical info more immersive. Used the Grenadier a few times on MegaMek. With the right terrain it's a scary little BA turret. Reminds me of an IS version of the Corona (SRM); or rather the Corona (SRM) is a Clan Grenadier. Given the Clan Undine turned into the Grenadier's cousin, the Hauberk, that might even be true. The fiction is nice, I'd like it if it was kept in!

The Story was great! I did not think the tidbit was too long, but if you are worried about their inclusion, rush some bits with your speech to both cut run time, and create tension in the story. I like it though, GJ.

A compact NARC is neat, but with only 3 shots on an assault class..... Light TAG seems more feasible. Though I'm sure the compact NARC launcher has its place. Just a more specialized and niche one. Though this is already a niche platform focusing on heavy weapons so that might not be too bad.

I love the Cuchulainn. It is one of my favorite battle armors along with the Gnome, Ironhold & the Fenrir. I don't remember if the Cuchulainn can grab onto a mech or not, but it wouldn't surprise me with how the image looks.

When Space-Brit-French bubba their Power Armor XD This one looks more like a walking brick than anything else, but its firepower is something to be erspected. Aesthetics might lack, but hey, it´s survivable.
