The true outcast, outlaw, outback frontier of BattleTech's galaxy. Boasting marshal law and posse comitatus stemming from practical, definitive life in isolated outer space, Yes, this culture of homesteading is even more strongly comparable to Old West prairies and MidWestern North America. Confederation of Pirate Farmers. Not despite but rather because of the Circinus lack of centralized focus upon education, in favour of self-reliance and hands-on learning is one reason why I'd might feel more free to live here than in the Outworlds Alliance, even. The general independence yet underlying communal cooperation and unity is a definite attraction...whether starting a more rural life or taking refuge from other states' laws or grudges. Not so much 'draconian' as Circinus' law enforcement engages in publicly capital punishment. Basic and effective, apparently. My amusement at the quaint entertainment industry of Western saloon gambling is tempered by the other side involving bloodsports that makes me think of Roman Coliseum-style 'games'. With THAT aspect being contrasted even further by the ole hippy and pioneer folk music making. That, too, is the most hardcore grassroots of any faction yet covered in the Narrator's playlist. Thanks for introducing me to this enclave with a piracy foundation, GDN; I wouldn't have known that another such frontier more-or-less state existed in this galaxy. Each faction adds more spice to the cocktail of worlds within BattleTech. Until you next sign on, I bid you have a healthy and awesome week.

Oh boy some one get the Inquisition because that man at 14:20 looks like a demon but Demons aside The Circinus federation is like every country atmosphere you would see in movies and games like Firefly and starcraft old-time country music and folk songs are always the best in a Sci-Fi Western atmosphere." 👍😃
