I thought the point here was to make the mech thinner after some people complained ti was too fat. (People used to the very thin MWO versions etc)

Ironically the shorter jets and lack of neck make it look too thick there.

I've given up on CGL's "premium" mechs.

It is technically a matter of art direction not quality control... Quality control is "does it have two legs and the right amount of panel lines"

It looks like catalyst, just put their stamp on a third party maker and didnt bother do quality control. The standard models look much more premium than the "premium" models.
