Considering what you're dealing with here the extended video is quite warranted. All of this was basically happening either at once or with a few weeks of each other. This brings us to where the next steps inbthe ilKhan era take place. All I'll say is Alric better be real paranoid right now. That target on his back is massive. There are plenty of people who'd like to hit it.

Playing since '89. Love your video's. Great writing & narration. Top notch. However I might disagree with your characterization of "deep dive". You are WAY more well versed than my efforts to catch up with recent events. I sometimes get lost because I lack context for some of the forces and characters named. My only constructive comment might be to slow down and add more context. What I've noticed about the BT community is that we don't need to blink for ~2hrs, so go nuts.

They are so intertwined and so many things are happening at the same time just several jumps apart and all in and around the Jade Falcon OZ and Lyran space.

For anyone who might think of having a Lone Wolves force here are a couple tips. One, there is no set paint scheme so go wild. Two, if you play them one the tabletop with advanced rules they have a couple of neat mechanics. They get -1 or -2 on piloting checks in cities, also here’s the fun one. If two (or more) Battlemechs take down an opponent and their is a dispute over who made the kill for salvage; on a 2 or 12 said mercenaries involved will fight each other for the salvage rights.

Thanks for sharing those insights about the Lone Wolves. They are an interesting unit with a history I was not as familiar with in the setting until this video. I look forward to learning more about them and others in future videos where I am thinking about doing Faction or Unit deep dives.

Just finished the video, you wanted feedback about the length. I feel this should be more like about a 20 to 30 minute episode. You can have the same content. but to me having multiple shorter. episodes, yeah 25 minutes being short, just makes it easier to listen to. In the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone, you sure could have. Especially depending upon the world. Some of them were left with nothing but up armored police forces for planetary defense.

So when the Falcons left their occupation zone, did they take even their second line and garrison units? Was there anybody left behind in the Falcon zone? civilian administrators? from what you are reading and telling us, it looks to me that the Falcon occupation Zone was completely ungoverned aside from probably local civilian police.

That about sums it up, the falcons took everything Malvina though was good enough to fight to Terra. Most units that were left behind were solahma units at best. Some of them were nothing but the local paramilitary police force. The Falcons went all in on Terra with the exception of Jiyi and a few others who realized how crazy Malvina was at that point.

@@HPGBlackout That would be great, Wars of Reaving were colossal shootout plus they were core factor in creation of current nations like Scorpion Empire, Hell's Horses OZ and Raven Alliance. Plus five Clans were absorbed or destroyed and a whole new Clan was created (Stone Lions)

I dunno about the Capellans, they have been more focused on crushing a long hated enemy in the Federated Suns. As for Canopus and the FWL, I would not be surprised if this somehow managed to happen.
