Battletoads 2020 All Bosses & Ending

Out of all the bosses in the game, Porkshank felt the most like a proper Battletoads boss to me, especially aesthetics-wise (not to mention his killer boss theme). Could see him fitting in just fine among Robo-Manus, Big Blag and General Slaughter in the Dark Queen's army.

yeah, also the topians dosen't sound bad as a couple of big powerful enemys at all, it works for a big menaces even more powerful than the dark queen herself. (sorry for the bad english)

Its true because Porkshank follows the same formula most Battletoads bosses use, which is either flooring you with intensely powerful blows, comboing you to death, or both. The only time this is broken is in the ARCADE game where "overstepping your boundaries" causes the boss to gain instant attack priority and absolutely thwart you.

Gotta hand it to them. They made use of a rare concept. I mean, the only memorable parts of this concept is Bowser teaming with Mario or Sonic teaming with Eggman

Ok so the only thing that I find wrong with the game is that it's slower then the other games of the series and the art style doesn't really fit "battletoads." I mean it looks fun and cool but the bosses are a bit lacking in design and difficulty. Overall it's really cool seeing an old franchise getting another game and it's also neat they tried to do something different with it. I would love to see how a second game would do if they ever make one.

The problem isn't that there's no blood or that crap, what makes me angry with this battletoads game is that it lost all of it's esceence, for example a thing that made battletoads ultra recognizable was that it never had mercy on players and this one is just easy compared to old titles And if they took out the difficulty they should at least have stayed with the good old badass designs they used to have because it looks that they just made this game to gain very young public So basically my point is that, if they planned to give us this I personally would have preferred to stay with cameos or to better don't get anything instead of this thing

I like this game. The combat is VERY fun and a fitting expansion of the 2 button combat we had prior.. However I am somewhat dissapointed in the bosses. It falls into the category of "wait for the pattern to finish so you can attack". Which is kinda iffy to me because the old battletoad games had a certain 'give and take' notion to its bosses. Not only did you CONFRONT the bosses upfrount and dodge their attacks accordingly, you could also deal with them as long as you need. And whatever YOU could do to the bosses, the bosses could do RIGHT back, which made being fast and attacking hard the priority given the much more simple combat (except the arcade game where it was more about prioritization and knowing which moves to deploy, how, and how skillfully you could execute them in terms of combat)

For them to not use ANY of the OG bosses is a crime in itself. Let alone the dialogue that craps on the OG fans and honestly craps on the protagonists themselves. Also the ending.Dark Queen, ,Not only did they ruin her asthetic(nothing wrong with an attractive female villain) A megalomaniac gets her powers back and threatens to rule the universe with her iron fist, but because there are cameras around and "Can't have a female villain who's a sexy badass that MALE CHARACTERS attack", they just give her all the credit and she's suddenly the hero? Nope. Gameplay is decent, some parts made me chuckle. But this is not what Battletoads deserved. Hopefully Rare gives this another shot and hands the reigns to someone who actually loves the franchise.
