Free roaming villagers are *so* hard to keep, I had to build a wall and light it up like daytime *and* fence of my small cliff to keep a stable population Also, tip: if you provide many beds (you can hide them under carpets) and some crop farms they'll breed, it may help

Put a blue shulker in the middle of your diamond pile and add some blocks in there so Scar always thinks he's ahead. At the end SURPRISE Bdubs wins with the sneaky plan.

Bdubs I think you should definitely put resources in the barrel to help them build their building on the plot. Just a suggestion :)
