I am thinking of getting one of these to fish/duck hunt on lakes and some small rivers in NC. How do you think it will do? The rivers are not rough I'm probably going to do a small outboard maybe 2.5 hp and a trolling motor up front. What size trolling motor do you use?

I just use a 46lb thrust trolling motor but for your use, maybe consider a pond prowler. They’re more stable for what you want to do, have seats already and take up to a 3.5hp. I’ve got a ton of videos on it here

They have to be less than 24” to keep and even then the upper slot often have worms so we only keep the small dudes if we keep them, which we don’t usually even catch slot drum at the bridge. Mostly tanks!!
