the Voltic is great, it's a shame that it's so rare in Gfred. I wonder if it can handle Chiliad in the snow, because with the 9f, infernus, sultan and baller being banned it might be the next best snowfred car no ?

Yeah, it's probably the only car that could do the hotlap route. Otherwise there's the old route with Feltzer, Surano, Rapid GT, Buffalo or Bullet

I know its a stable for this channel and community, but i think it would be really great at some point to make a gfred 2.0? A whole new race with new checkpoints, new routes - basically a fresh start. Not to completely remove the current gfred race but just as a switch up from time to time.

There should be a "ghost until first checkpoint" gfred-variation, not that big of a difference but slightly less rng at the start Don't know if that's actually an option with GTA mode tho

GFRED SUMMARY SERIES Gfred #266: A Sick Man and The Three Record Holders . . . . SPOILER ALERT After a nice race in the Slamvan, it’s time for Gfred, the final ones of the Season. No Gfred in December until SnowFreds. Though Broughy mistakenly said Next Week instead of Next Month. When Raymo asked, he didn’t have much plans for the off season. And yes, XDW, this month is about Regular Gfred, as he glanced at the Sentinel Classic to wait for the Widebody, which is prophetically indeed releasing on Tuesday. XDW said “Inb4 they lock a RON livery behind GTA+” He considers retesting Sentinel Classic as well. JJ said “According to Cirrus you should retest everything lol. Your Dubsta time is about 4s off what he can do lol” This is because he retested Brioso 300 before its Widebody. Then he needs to check Cinquemilla, though he has no will and probably just retest the top tiers of them. He duelled with Nismo’s Kanjo SJ. He did a pretty nice Airport Jump in the Sentinel. Turns out, he missed the parachute, as well as the need to buy all ammo… except for the Mk. II weapons since they’re only at the Weapon Workshop. Though he thinks they’re disappearing out of nowhere since he never used them, classic Rockstar. Luckily, KDawg delivered a Sparrow for him to get a parachute on… and then he lost it to the spikes of Mark’s ZR380. KDawg is kind enough to do it again for him. Anyway, time to start the lobby. Heavy Flavor said “hey Broughy! I am a rare chatter here. Recently bumped into your Gfred series on YT and got completely taken by it, I think I watched 50+ episodes over last 4 days” Broughy only wished to finish this race without any major issue, while there’s a lot of new people today to watch their first Live Gfred. Johno subbed “Good luck in the Gfred” Still, after how much sickness depleted him for the past week, he’s just happy to finish the race. Unknown Cat got wrecked at the start, and the start for this last PS5 Gfred is rather unclean. And after the usual surfacing, he decided to just run to the Lighthouse. He needs to explain why he’s sick to the KZbin folk, even though they’d skip this anyway. This is his first stream after that, and he’s already struggling. It’s all about hoping for nothing majorly bad today. So, he’ll do Two Dad Joke. And don’t worry, he’ll read the subscriptions in the end. Not a greatest start indeed. J Clike said “repeat the racing driver's excuses at the freeway” He thinks the right side is the better strategy. Wryfrost said “How beneficial is jumping from the parking garage to the upper highway instead of landing on the ground like normal?” it’s not faster, but it’s to avoid traffic at the Bottleneck. Then Harry Hammerhead ran Broughy over in his Baller, though he survived. Since he’s at the back, he just wait to see a Sentinel XS hidden behind a Pounder, seems to be the best car around here today. Phil said “28/30 on the highway” Sadly, he encounters a Chicane created by a Tipper which led him to hit a Habanero in an attempt to dodge it. As McGreega had a lead further than everyone else. At least he beat the train. He’s now 11th on the Quarry. And he had another Near Miss exiting the Quarry with another Tipper. He doesn’t think people have anything as fast at this, it’s working as people are veering off to the right, except for Mcgregga who’s so far away. He’s now 8th at Pillbox Interchange. It helps him a lot as he dodged a turning Granger at Legion Square. And the Recording Loading Screen is rather unaccommodating too. And then Harry brakecheck him at the Arena. He saw Unknown Cat got a Surano at the Airport. He’s now 29 seconds behind McGregga in the end, along with Verdilith and Unknown Cat in the Top Three, three Record Holders. So, with that dodge from a Youga in the South Central, the improvement he can get is minimal. And with Unknown Cat in the Surano, he might have a chance to claim the Win, and Top Five is a good result for his current condition. Now he wanted to check Senora Road. And… he got a Voltic, only losing two places. He overtook back Ikaonashi who narrowly dodged Broughy when he switched cars and now switching from Rebel to Surano, and Broughy decided to take this Voltic to the Elevator. Too bad Broughy couldn’t take another one too, seems to be the best car to have today, so much better than everything else. Though he thinks Voltic, Sentinel, and Baller are rather close. Then he changed his mind and go for Hotlap. While there’s a split strategy among plenty of people. It’s rather rare for him to drive a Voltic however, though the bushes at the top is more hazardous for Voltic’s lightweight. He now caught back time to be in 4th, and he just passed Unknown Cat in the Lead right the Summit. McGregga got a Surano too. He’s close to the Lead Battle now. Surano’s still stronger in the 2nd half of the race however. With a nice roll and several Near Misses on the way down. And another with Nismo’s Baller. He’s being careful with the Descent now. And then he slides. He lands on a rock too, as he wonders if the Safety Train held up the Leaders. As he’s 32 seconds behind McGregga at Chiliad, it means he lost time changing cars. At least he done a good Quarry-Chiliad part today. He still can’t go up against the World Record Holders still in front of him. McGregga, Verdilith, and Unknown Cat all had it at some points in their history, possibly doing more Gfred than Broughy. He spun at the Train Dismount. But turns out, Verdilith is still on Sentinel, so he might be able to snatch a Podium. He then had yet another near miss with a Surano on Harmony, while McGregga and Unknown are fighting for the lead. He overtake through the Elk Leap Skip… but then a Bush sbinalla’d him, feels as if they’re deadlier on 9th Gen. Three people are coming right behind him. McGregga already pulled up another lead at Observatory. No chance of winning lest they both die, as Broughy got spun out at the Dismount Hill again. So perhaps a light car like this needs to have consideration against the bushes. Now he goes for Hail Mary defensively for Podium. Bullet finally spawned after Zancudo. And he did the Hail Mary beautifully. Also, the Swinging on Hail Mary has changed, it’s smaller swings compared to the 8th Gen’s larger swings. He certainly didn’t expect to see a Podium today, so he thank everyone for the GG, even though he’s 50 seconds behind McGregga. Voltic is a good change, and he has made a good decision overall, from waiting a bit for a Sentinel to switching for Voltic. Meanwhile Box is seen doing party with Fireworks and Minigun on the Cable Car, though it violates the Gfred Spirit. Really annoying. McGregga and Unknown Cat had a great battle, as the former said “I was in the Granger from the start, then switched to Surano on the way to Chiliad” Gfred has come to a point where, the lead is only 15 seconds ahead, and some have sub 20 minutes time. Then JJ launched his car took out some poor lad called Fire Flash parachute on Josiah. Caught on 4K. He’s not sure whether it’s a Wait or not, just an unfortunate coincidence. Hammer said “I made Turbo wait for exactly the same thing” This incident sounds hard to be done intentionally. Just one of those things. Meanwhile, and yes, 7th and 8th are separated by 5/1000 seconds. Ikaonashi got 4th, Verdilith fell to 8th, and JJ is in 16th as well as Mark in 17th. After the surprise of a good Gfred, he’ll take the Podium. RBS asked “Can the new shape baller not do the hotlap route very well? I was in it all race and really struggled to get up” though. Baller doesn’t have much power, but it came on its own on Snow more than Rain.

regarding the jump down from the parking lot: instead of jumping right after getting the checkpoint, do a little run up to gather speed, that way you save a lot of time and miss the chaos, and i'm sure that this way slower cars can also reach that upper road
