Bauer elite kneepads are great quality. I think Aegis neck guards may be the new gold standard.

Are the 2nd price point knee guards bulky? Do you think they would work well with Bauer 3x leg pads?

No we don't find them bulky but of course your opinion could differ. Good match for 3X, yes.

MY son loves the Bauer Elites. I think they are great quality and the fit is decent.

How long and at what temp do you cook the knee pads to mold them don’t wanna over do it I know for gloves it’s around 170 for 5 mins but since knee pads are smaller

Well for obvious reasons we don't want to give firm guidelines (we don't want to overdo it for you either!) and every oven temperature sensing can be different. So the safest option is to go in to the store and ask about using the skate oven. But we wouldn't worry about 5 min really - but we never put them directly on a metal surface in the over either....we use a silicone baking sheet just ot be extra safe.

I purchased the Bauer elite goalie jock. The cup doesn't appear to be removable. Am I right? Also, what's the best way to wash the Bauer elite goalie jock?

Well we accept no responsibility for what might happen...but we've put it in our washing machine on a gentle cycle with a few other small items. We've actually done that with pretty much every item except leg pads and mask. But that's our machine and use caution!!
