Hello .. my knee blocks in my bauer supreme 3s is worn out .. engraved .. so when l drop down with my light two layers knee pads it really hurts .. would ticker knee pads solve the issue ? And thank you for your nice videos 😊

Bauer Vapor 1X are my favorites. Wanted to like the Bauer Supremes, but the Poron at the knee didn't work for me at all; it actually hurt to drop down.

we heard that from a few testers too -- the poron pad could hit in a bad spot under kneecap

I just bought some Bauer Pro knee guards after trying the CCM KP1.9’s and I’ve had knee bruising (landing spot) with both types. I’ve also wore padded knee sleeves and they help but still getting bruised. Are my knee blocks (CCM Axis 2) too firm or is there some trick the pros use to avoid knee bruising with how often they are on the ice? Thanks!

WE haven't tested them so best to call Cam at the Hockey Shop...but coming from thigh boards they'll be a huge upgrade! ;)

I still have to travel 2 hours to go try on before I buy but I think I'm sold on warrior pro's I always take shots in the most unprotected areas playing in every level of beer league. I always get pro gear and never regret it

Took me 2 skates to really get used to but I'm really happy I went with CCM KP Pros. They sure are bulky but provide great protection, stay in place and absorb the impact when you go down. Time will tell if they're durable but they were worth the 172$ so far.

So are knee pads designed to work with the mfg leg pads? Like Bauer knee pads work best with Bauer leg pads, Warrior with Warrior, etc??

I still have the patrick roy butterfly. If you notice, it's not like today's butterfly lol. Anyway, to tall the goalies NOT wearing knee/thigh pads, I started around 98 wearing them, cause I took one off the exposed area....I didn't walk for a week, the other 2 weeks after, I barely got around. Lesson learn.

I’d suggest staying away from the Bauer supremes. Unfortunately nothing like their older generation when it comes to comfort/padding when dropping into your butterfly. 1st game with them and it felt like I smashed my knee off the ice when I went down. Massive bruise, and it’s been almost a week and still in pain. Solid review though! Made me wanna try the warriors out for sure.

The warriors are the way to go. They wont move at all.very protected. Tried all the knee pads,they all slide. Warriors stay at home.

I wear protec skateboard knee pads. Way more comfortable to drop on than most of the trash made by hockey brands.

Those protec knee pads don’t protect the thigh. Might want to explain how this works. Have a source or link? Many nhl goalies wear Swedish knee guards that are not found on the market.

tacking a slap shot to the knee is far less dangerous than lack of social distancing and fiddling with the face mask all the time - so why should I believe these "experts" btw I have been wearing knee pads since is started playing 50 years ago so well before the butterfly was promoted

@@PeteNice29 Huh? 3 years ago everyone with a brain knows masks are useless. Read this CDC study from 2019 called 19-0994 a meta analysis (most powerful study) that concludes nothing works to stop a pandemic flu, based on several control trials and empirical based studies. I've read the "pro" mask studies, they're halfass with no control group and they the highly technical studies are in a lab looking at filteration efficiency which has no proven correlation with stopping invisible air cooties. Lastly, in the general surgery area, many power control have been performed if I recall Tuneval 1991, Bahli 2009, Lipp 2014 and a couple more I forget. All control trials show no difference or increased infections of surgey patients when the staff wore masks during surgery.
