Since the day my eyes set on this video - I could not help falling in love with them. Osho used to talk about them and when I went through , i was able to relate them with our own Punjabi BULLA....that MASTU man...we all imagine...here is somewhat how he would have danced. I do not understand the lyrics but I understand music....I understand how tough it is to play on a instrument and sing along....and I can imagine how tough it is to manage 2- 3- 4 instruments...and keeping all in rhythm. Here is my tribute to those people...who sing and dance in trains ..and few of their brothers and sisters were lucky to even perform in Royal Albert Hall and presigious concerts abroad....

Osho World has both Volumes of the Beloved for Download for Free if you put 'BELOVED" in the search or maybe in the B section..in English maybe also in Hindi..my favorite Osho talks i have both volumes with Bhagwan name not Osho ..dont think they ever reprinted those volumes after the name change to Osho ..my books came from Rebel Publishing in Germany 1990 i also have the cassette tapes of the talks ..He captured the Essence of the Bauls ..always doing the Impossible with words He was :)

I think that it is unlikely. Not because that you are wrong in your social analysis; but becasue, these are people of much higher quality then us. For them money, fame or hardship, all are same if they can't roam freely and sing. Unless laws(like that in last fundemantalist govt. in Bangladesh) prohibits them from singing, they will persist. I just hope that I am right for the sake of coming generations.

@ beretep .. I must say that you are totally ignorant ! The lady is NOT Japanese.. she is a BAHE BENGALI or a RAJBANGSHI, as they are called in northern Bengal. They originate from the district of BIRBHUM and often perform on trains that cross BOLPUR, their district headquarters. They are nomads .. and often go hungry. But it will not show on their faces when they are singing .. that's coz they are NOT singing for money .. but for a much higher cause.. that's because this what they are meant to!
