Join me on my adventurous truck camping trip in bear country! I smoke up some mouthwatering root beer chicken legs on my pellet smoker and enjoy some fishing. Watch as I navigate the wilderness and stay alert for any bear encounters in this exciting outdoor excursion.

Root Beer Chicken Recipe:
12 Chicken Legs
1 Root Beer
1 1/2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
1 TBSP brown sugar
2 TBSP ketchup
1 TSP garlic powder
1 1/2 TBSP worcestershire sauce
1 TBSP molasses
Put ingredients in sauce pan and cook on high. bring to boil and turn heat down to medium. Let sauce render down about 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

Be careful out there by yourself, bears dont kid around, I feel like you should have a couple of family members or friends with you. I wish I was brave enough to go camping but I don't like bugs and forest critters. Im fine with staying in the screened in gazebo in my back yard.LOLOL😂. When my husband came home on R&R from Vietnam, he wanted to go out frog gigging. So, we went out at night on the boat. Alabama has water moccasins EVERYWHERE. We got near the shore and a moccasin fell from a tree into our boat. Scared the crap out of me! My husband just took a paddle and flipped it out of the boat. Last time I EVER went frog gigging...

Glad you didn't see any bears. When you mentioned it was hot at 74 i was thinking of the temp at my home today in Pensacola, Fl. at 97 feels like 103 your temp sounded really nice. I have had frog legs before and they are really good. Not little toad legs but bullfrogs legs. Like people say " they taste like Chicken " lol ( you do such a great job on your trips ) Definitely will try the chicken root beer sauce. Appreciate your love for the Lord and how open you are to share His love. Blessings

It can get a bit nerve racking sometimes. But I feel very safe typically. It’s very rare that you run into anything in the woods but you should always be prepared! Keep your wits about you. I get more lonely a than anything lol

For crispy chicken wing skin, add 2 Tbsp Baking Powder to your rub. Changes the pH. Works on turkey too!

I have eaten frog legs in my younger days when I didn't know any better, they were good. I don't think I could eat them today. Those brrrrrrrritos looked good! And the rootbeer chicken! I was wondering, is there some kind of tick repellant you can use? Another youtuber i follow got lyme disease. He's on antibiotics for it, but he showed it on his Facebook and it's a huge red welt several inches across. It's covering a large area of his side below his armpit. I worry about you adventuring through all that brush!

Those meals were tasty! Give that chicken a try 😊 they do have tick repellents you can spray on your clothes. I’m pretty good at checking myself or feeling a creepy crawler on my skin. Definitely would not be good to get Lyme disease 😬

Kenny idk if you’ve considered getting a satellite emergency locator to carry with you in case of an emergency should you ever need it. Might be a wise investment should you have a bad fall or injury when you’re out there.

If I ate that glaze, I'd gain 100 pounds overnight! Goodness gracious!!! I'm solid keto; non of that glaze for me! But I WILL eat grilled chicken with spices only. And water or unsweetened tea with that please! No dessert... Don't want to have to loosen the belt. YUM!!! Try it; you'll like it. And when you wake up in the morning you'll be raring to go instead of sleepy and lethargic.

You might enjoy “Fowler’s Makery & Mischief” channel. A Christian guy w/adventure and imagination. I love ur videos and try to watch them all. I love your sincere personal relationship w/Christ, ur imagination, filming, editing and love ur posted Bible Verses. I usually write the verse on an index card and read it many times over til ur next video. You don’t always have to camp, any day adventure or a few hour adventure would be great. For me and surely ur other viewers - we just enjoy you!!!! Whatever ur doing. 😊

Always camped with friends way back in the 1970s in a old canvas tent and once in bear country at Stokes Forrest, we took turns staying up all night keeping a big fire going because the week before two girls were killed by a bear, we found out only after we got there, all food kept in the cooler in the car. You are very brave, God bless. Love how you pray.

Thank you for your encouragement. May I say I am battling adultery sin at the age of 12 when I discovered it. While trying to fight it out. I ask Jesus forgiveness. I am 23 years old I accept Jesus in my heart at age 11 didn't know I am going through a storm a nasty one. I got baptized when I was 16 years old. I have relapse but I ask God forgiveness through his son's because what he died for me he lived a perfect life not a sin on him and yet he died for me on the cross so I can see his face not his anger. Who accepts his son should not be perishable but have ♾️ life. I was reading up on recovery programs I was thinking of doing to find help. I have discussed drunk anonymous meetings idea. We can share our thoughts together. To crushed adult industry to the ground not one boy or man nor girl or woman should go through that junk. Confession to one another is getting us help remember if we ask God it is not a sign of weakness it is a sign of boldness because we have God to strengthen us up.

I am outdoorsy person besides the hot 100°F weather I burned too quickly. Mosquitoes love me. I am planning on trying to get all of my dad's American black tree chopped and turned into firewood. Hubby and I are trying to figure out what you are carrying? He says .50 cal desert eagle but I think maybe a full frame .40? Either way, looks like it could slow a bear.

@@BaumOutdoors Wow! I just went down a rabbit hole! I didn’t know about 10mm and hubby had just nodded off so went and looked it up. Keep in mind, we are in Oklahoma so zero bear country experience. Now I know why you carry what you carry. A 50 cal is just a big ole heavy thing that’s slow and inefficient compared to what you need for a bear. Yours is lighter weight, more comfortable to carry and higher capacity, which I learned is key. A bear is definitely not a one shot deal like I am used to. Read a story about an elk hunter that practiced quick draw dry fire all summer after he got his tag and it saved his life because he trained it into his muscle memory. And even then it took his buddy shooting too!! I just had no idea. Thank you for inspiring a new learning for me! And keep your head on a swivel!! While I am at it, way to go on 168,000 subscribers! I’m super happy for you. I came on board around the 5,00 mark I think. Is been wonderful to watch you, your content and channel grow.
