I hope you all enjoyed this adventure as much as I did! More to come! As a disclaimer I can’t stress enough the importance of making sure you have good ventilation while using a propane heater. Please have multiple ways of detecting CO. The Mr. Heater has a low oxygen sensor built in but having a second detection source is a must. NEVER run your heater while you are asleep. In this video I only used the heater while awake and with plenty of ventilation. Please and I stress, please do your research before ever considering using a propane heater in a tent, and make sure the heater is designed for indoor use, as the Mr. Heater is. If in doubt, leave it out 👍 safety first everyone!

Really nice tent. I believe they have a small battery powered air pump. They supposedly work great. Also good idea to bring some soft camp shoes so you can take those boots off. Again, always enjoy your videos. Learn as we go.

Expensive, ultralight is for people who don't work out. I did the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island with a 30 dollar tent from Target and it did well. The best gear is the one you have.

Thanks, I appreciated the temp checks. My Buddy heater and a small tent that I am able to stand in ( as opposed to being on my knee's) was a real game changer for cold weather. I do run my heater all night but I'm absolutely sure there is plenty of ventilation ( have a CO detector also.) Almost too much ventilation really as It takes little to feel a draft. Although it can be very safe its also absolutely solid advice in general just to use when awake.

We have an Ozark trail tent and with a tarp in steady rain found it ok,also we found that camp beds are better as the air mattress went down in the night,have you tried the mini barbeque for cooking can recommend it , enjoyed the video just found your channel . Best wishes from Hereford uk

Still not a fan of cold camping but you do make it look fun. The last month we camp is in sept, in the sand hills of Nebraska in Mckelvie national forest in Valentine Nebraska. Sometimes it'll get in the 20s. If I were to use a thermometer I would hang it at head height sitting level or sleeping level to know true temp. I love your videos Kenny, so I hope you don't think I'm being a butt head. I'm just making suggestions. Keep up the great work my friend.
