Very nice review. Interesting that a long time boat builder company did not designed its production line with incremental changes so they can re-use the lessons learned by their mistakes.

Refreshingly direct review thanks. I have also have on of the new Yanmars in my Beneteau and I have the same problem with fan noise. Very annoying.

At 7:16 you say you're flying downwind at 11.5 knots. Surely the boat doesn't have a hull speed anywhere near 11.5? I guess it's not hull speed, but planing?

That's good to know:) I plan to buy a sail boat of class 34. Have you Compared the performance and quality differences between BAVARIA and Jeanneau.

@@richardfan7582 Not really. But some friends own Jeanneaus and they are pretty happy. But in the end all the serial yachts are similar. In my opinion it's more a question of taste than of quality.

What would be a better alternative to this boat, where these problems are tackled (and not replaced by bigger other issues) of the same pricing?

Looking at the generally poor fit and quality it appears that Bavaria either (A) Wants to have another try at filing for bankruptcy or (B) Is cheaping out on its boats to try and get itself to a better financial position quickly. Either way Bavaria are doing themselves harm in the market.

B- Bavaria is cheaping out on its boats. All they care about is getting as many boats they can out of production year as possible.
