hi Rob very good video. i make my northern brewer beer in 5 gal batches and i bought their outside propane burner so if there is a boil over no big deal. also if you continue to cook inside on the stove is have a spray bottle of water once its starts to rise spay the heck out of it it will help with that over boil. thanks for the video

Good pointers. Thanks! Cleaning up after a boil over is no fun.

Based on the weather outside, it looks like you may have had the first glass today. If that's the case, then you had perfect timing!

Yes I did…. The beer was ready and the snow was coming down. It was a good day for a Hefeweizen along with some Gumbo that I made.

I enjoyed the video, thanks! When you put the fermenter in the corner, about how much light was it exposed to? For example, a typical lit room, dark room, occasional light, etc.

I wrap a towel around the fermenter when I store it in the corner. That keeps it from being exposed to light.

That shot of you spilling the beer reminds me of emptying a fryer when I was 16 at my first job and spilling the fry oil on my hands. Not fun Glad you weren't hurt

Yeah… I have a few burns on my body from my years at the restaurant. My most painful one was when I took a tray of about 40 (400°) baked potatoes out of an upper oven and it rested on my bare forearm. It took about 10 seconds to get that tray down to the counter. I didn’t want to drop that tray because I would of had 40 smashed potatoes on the floor with service starting.
