Know what you mean about Joe Lucas (The Prince of Darkness) And have had some pretty crankie experiences with my old boxer too. My mate and his lass went off backpacking a few years ago. He had an old Yam 750 and she had an old Speed Twin. They left them in the shed for 6 months. They were touching and when they got back the positive earth Triumph was clean as a whistle but the yam was all corroded. The old Trumpet had shown what he thought of Japanese technology!

Hey Chris, Figured out my problem with my 91 k100rs. Good dowse of electronic spray cleaner in the key switch!! Sigh of re-leaf, that I didn't fry the computer!!

I bought an exhaust muffler from Beemer Boneyard. He said it was made of titanium and pretty expensive. When I got it I could tell it wasn't titanium. I asked for a refund but the owner told me no because the muffler was sort of titanium color. Never dealt with that scammer again. Maybe he's better now than when he was first starting out. Just beware.

I wish you would have mentioned why you need a 30 ah battery on the K100 and K1100 ABS models. Some owners install the smaller capacity batteries and that is not ok! Only the 30 ah battery has enough capacity to manage several ABS actuations in series of this generation of ABS and maintain the proper operating voltage for the bikes needs. The 30 ah battery is not specifically there for starting but for ABS actuations.

Chris, I have a 1991 k100rs. It has been in storage since oct. 2021. I disconnected the battery at that time. I pulled the bike out a couple days ago. To get it started. I hate to admit this to you. I ended up making a couple quick sparks. Didn't realize ground wire was still connected. At this point I have no juice to anything. No dash lights, etc.etc. So, where does this F'in idiot start. To figure out how bad I messed up?? Checked the fuses. They all seem ok. Love your video's man!!!

Kan zijn dat je nog eens een 3 in 1 400Volt met mogelijkheid 240Volt ook te kunnen lassen, maar dat je wiedes, niet alles nog es maar jajaah, juiste gereedschap daar kun je alles mee bewerken en werkend, schuurbandmachine die klemmen naar smaller als 9 mm

Well I got 7 years out of a lithium iron battery and it left me with a dead battery this eve. Time for a new battery of some sort. (K1100 LT) So what do you do when it leaves you miles from home with a dead battery? You thumb a ride home and in the morning you take whatever kind of battery you have and with some 10 gauge jumper wires you connect it up and put the whatever battery in the saddle bag. Then you order one from Beemer Boneyard. One of the first symptoms I had was that it ran poorly at ldle and low RPM. That wasn't fouled fuel injectors this time. It was a worn down battery. Wierd symptoms and part of it might have been a loose negative ground to the motor, but regardless, for 7 years I had no ABS because it didn't work with the lithium iron battery. Got ABS now with the battery from Beemer Boneyard.

Dat gaat met binnenwerk luchtfilterbak op 4 kalkhoudende Gietijzer kletteren als je der allen niet met stuk fietsenband, nouja, ik vind probeer die met voorzien van schroef maar dat is geluk hebben dat passend te krijgen.

Of uhm deze klemmen bij BMW met schroef zijn, nee knijptang vast klemmend 1 time use only, dat is sinds 1988 ook al.

What speedometer do you recommend for a 1998 R1200C that would display gear and gas amount compared to the oem one that it comes with.

There is no alternative to the OEM unit that I am aware of but I wish you luck in your search.

Only the 16 valve does this. Your 2 valve K100 and K75 models will activate the fuel pump via the starter button instead of being primed with the key.

@@ChrisR.Harris Thanks for getting back. I looked couldn't find email. I'm old not go with technology crap. My wife has a R1200c she wants to start riding again I want to make sure she's good to go. I learned how to replace battery from you and plan on oil change. The bike been sitting for couple yrs. I put stabilizer in it and start it few times. It does have had time getting it into 1st when you first start. Well thanks again.

36 tot 50 mm waren niet 9 mm breed, smal eigenlijk, maar veel breder. Geen 9 mm. Breed is smal. Afdichtingsringen, dat ze in principe bij iets anders als originele, dan ben je al niet goed bezig met rubbers, kun je wel doen, maar wat al benodigd is maakt gelijk dat slangen klemmen ook weer niet passen.
