BAVSOUND BMW M4 STAGE 1 Audio Upgrade (F82,F30)

Bavsound charges over $2,000 for the complete kit which includes their Revenant DSP amp. So this is what i did... Got a used mint condition Bavsound Revenant DSP amp for $500, front door and rear-shelf German made ETON B100 premium mid-range speakers with tweeters all for $500. Then got 2 of the best German made underseat subs "Audio System X200 Plus Evo" at 175w RMS each super premium quality for a total of $400! Got a far way better superior sound setup than Bavsounds own speakers and still saved $1,000+ while at it. The amazing sound blows my mind!

Hi Laloman, thanks for giving the Revenant amp a shot! Keep in mind we tune the Revenant amp to either the factory or the Bavsound speakers, so hopefully one day you'll get a chance to hear the Revenant on the Bavsound speakers for which it is tuned, might blow your mind even further!

Definitely one of those why no before you gut it things. You can always sell it after pretty easily oh and they have a trial period if you don’t like em you can return them within 100 days so that’s rad also I should have mentioned that in the video.

Best Install Video yet! Just ordered the woofers myself. I've heard people recommending disconnecting the center console for a better sound stage. What are your thought on this? Would like to know if you have/will give this a try.

Honestly I could see how that could be a good idea definitely worth a try. It’s not hard to hook back up so it would be a fun test to check out

Great tutorial dude! Shame I have a normal sound system in my earlier m4. HK has fiber optic harness so I would need to install that first before attempting upgrades.

No not at all they make a kit for non HK also check their website they have options for all BMW’s going back to the E36 👍🏼 you definitely need this then. They have a non HK install video on there website also on a F32 but it’s honestly exactly the same just with a few more speakers on my video.

No amp upgrade for “my” car however other spec cars and years will have the option. I recommend to look up your vehicle and see the options then basically get everything available because it’s awesome 👍🏼

thanks for the video. i just placed my order for bavsound speakers in my BMW F36. what sound deadening mat are you using? have you broken any door clips and needs to get replacements?

I’d grab a hand full of replacement clips. I didn’t break any but apparently the tech that worked on a few spots on my car did. I used boommat

I have the harman kardon with my car but with certain songs I hear a rattle like if the speaker if broken in the rear I don’t know what it is I just got the car last week Bmw m4

It’s possible you could have a blown speaker. The other thing I would check is the tray behind the headrest on the back shelf see if that’s vibrating or the light in the back that can make noise to you may need to stuff something in there to quiet it down

@@BlakesGarage I think it’s blown I just did 75% volume and it I herd it very clear but down to 50% I didn’t hear the distortion but I’ll definitely look into I also do appreciate the reply to my comment much love bro ❤️🙏

4hrs maybe 5 because I did a lot of sound deadening at the same time. I highly recommend to fix anything that can rattle in the process
