You are a magician, a wizard, a man with special powers of beauty and quality. From the different colors of the twigs and the colors of the resin, to the perfection of turning it on the lathe, you create a priceless work of art! Such a joy for the eyes and touch and mind.

Starry night! I really like that. I realize this was a lot of work but the results show the effort was well worth it. Perhaps the other half of the wood ball could be a companion piece in lighter golds and earth tones to represent the day. Hey, just a thought... 😊

G'day Morgan. I used to watch a lot of woodturning videos. I don't any more. Now once a week I get a notification from you and I know I have about 15 minutes of tranquility and joy coming my way. My weekly dose of magic. This one is magnificent. The variation in the hazel wood is so subtle yet so vast. Astounding. I get a real Starry Night impression. If that is what you were aiming for, then Bravo. I am sure Vincent himself would appreciate this piece. I like it. I like it a lot. Your work makes me very emotional. Thanks mate. Joel.

What a journey. 1st layer - Sun king, 2nd and covering layer - my late mother’s head covered in rollers, but, as always, it’s worth the wait. Good Onya Morgan. Would be interesting as the point for conversation and the views thereof.

When Van Gogh spent his time at the hospital in Arles, he was taught lathework as a means of therapy. He did indeed interpret several of his previous works in wood and resin, most notably Dr. Gachet, The Potato Eaters, and, yes, Starry Night. These works, while clearly not as great as his paintings, still command a high price on the collector's market around the world.

That was really nicely done. Coring it would have been very cool also. Stay safe. Where do you find the round pouring containers?
