I have a MS50G and I don't need to pay for the AMPs or for the CentaGold (Klon clone) I really can't see the advantages of this device.

For the price + the whole shop you can nearly buy a G5, but, the size is really handy for making demos. I pair mine with the zoom R24 and it works great. I can almost relicate my real pedal board going into a marshall JMD102 with this zoom pedal. Excellent tool.

what would you suggest for a synth like a juno 106 performing live in the same idea, meaning a pedal that includ a basic comp, eq, reverb, delay,modulation...does this exist in that format..

I wish I could patch my gt10 to have some stuff like particle reverb and some other effects this toy has.. Just imagine, they were able hack the ms50 to get into it all the things the ms70 has.. after all its all just a program.

@Tim Ryan: There are 50 presets of 6 simultanious FX which you can cycle through whilst playing live. Of course some experience with the pedal is a must. Feel free to try the pedal out in our store.

I went through 4 of these pedals in 3 days if this device gets interrupted during the firmware update it frys the circuit board I spoke to the tech at zoom and he told me that Bluetooth is the most unstable way to do any update and if it goes wrong the pedal will need a new cuicuit board so I swapped the last one for the 50mg updated the firmware with no problems due to the more stable usb cable.The guy at zoom said to me it would have been a good idea to have hade a usb cable on the bt100 for firmware updates.So if you get one that does this to you make sure you keep your receipt and don't tell them you tried updating it just say it was like that out of the box of they will blame you.at the store.and might not give you a refund or swap over.

How would a guitarist gig with this unit and access custom effects chains without reaching down and manually switching between effects chains? Does it offer the ability to connect a effects chain selector pedal? If you can't, it makes this pedal something you would just sit and jam with. By the way your reviews are awesome. Some of the best.

Hey Tim, I just got this pedal and am just figuring it out. To switch between effects without bending down and scrolling with the knob, you can assign effect presets in alphabetical order (A, B, C, etc.) and scroll through them using the footswitch in that order. The main disadvantage is that you can't jump directly from say preset "A" to "C", you'd have to press the pedal twice to get from "A" to "C".

You only can change patches by pressing de buttons on the pedal, you can't change it with your feet.

Depend on your gigs...that you need, of u need amp modelling or Cab SIM use MS 100...MS 70 CDR just give u modulation ( like Chorus delay reverb)

.. and this is another great review, where a stero pedal is tested also in stereo mode. Unfortunately Zoom does not support 90% of the market smartphones (android). A tragic marketing choice..
