I'm just 41 and was recently diagnosed with A-Fib with RVR, which puts me at a substantially increased risk of rapid and irregular heart arrhythmias that can cause me to lose consciousness. My cardiologist recommended I get a GPS medical alert system with fall detection, that can call for help if I can't do it myself. I called Bay Alarm Medical to inquire about such a system with fall detection. When the lady found out I was just 41, she point blank told me that at my age, I don't need to be having anything to do with a medical alert system. She told me to make sure I take my medications everyday and keep my iPhone on me at all times, and I'll be just fine.

Note you are leasing the base system and they recommend that you pay an extra 3 dollars a month (I called on 8-1-23) as a warranty to replace the system once a year.

Bay Alarm was a huge disappointment. Several times my mother's calls were not responded to, at all. They sent test signals in the beginning to be sure it worked. After several attempts to get help, and there was not a response, I asked them to send a test signal while I was with her and I was told they were not allowed to do that. Terrible system. Returning.
