What I love so much about Xabi Alonso's management style is that it is a combination of managers he has played for, like Rafael Benitez (Liverpool), Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid), Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich) and Vicente del Bosque (Spain), and you can see bits and pieces of all those managers in his Bayer Leverkusen team, both in tactics and mentality It's also been great to see Bayer Leverkusen pull off an incredible underdog story and win the Bundesliga for the first time in their history. Their win vs Roma today was incredible, and even though I'm not a Leverkusen fan I hope they can complete an undefeated season

It wouldn't be bad if a club could make. Now is a very very rare opportunity. It's like the Golden Slam in Tennis. Three women have done it. But the men have failed so far. But I want to see someone do it.

Ancelotti is great for Real Madrid and for their stars, otherwise mediocre. Klopp and Pep are the greatest managers of this millennium so far. Xabi can still join those two. On top of Xabi I think the main thing is still the players. Hradecky, their solid defence, great midfield led by Andrich and Xhaka, fantastic offence led by maybe the best young player in the world Florian Wirtz.
