The final was really painful for me.(one of the reasons I've been avoiding this video) I started supporting Bayern as a kid during the struggle periods of the mid to late 2000s. I was so hopefully with a sense of pride but it all came crashing down. Thankful that we won it the next time. Great great video. Love the quality and passion put into the documentary.

Haha same for us CFC fans, the horror of 2008 is too much to bear. Even 2002, 07 and 09 were awful as well - despite not reaching the finals. But I was glad to see this Bayern team get rewarded for their efforts the next year. Was a wholesome and deserving victory for a great team.

What a history between these two clubs to the 2012 CL final. I remember i saw that game is a kid. I was more known of Bayern Munich and was totally surprised that Chelsea won. Later at older age i understand what legend team Chelsea also had and they deserved it after so many years with ups and downs. But i honestly felt really bad for Bayern and especially for Schweinsteiger. This brought back memories. I was in Delhi watching the final at a sports bar which had the Ten Sports commentary crew (South Asian region broadcasters) sitting there. Muller's goal almost killed me, I was crestfallen. But that Drogba strike from our only corner of the game gave me hope. And what a night it was, I dropped to my knees when that penalty went in. Couldn't believe it , the way we did it and the spirit of that side. Just amazing, one of the greatest underdog CL win in history.

This game was the most emotional event in my entire life... I believed in our defense, and I was confident that we could take it to penalties where we can beat them... but when Muller scored the header, like most Chelsea fans and players (Lampard said it that he gave up, Drogba as well, Drogba said Mata told him to not give up) I thought the game was done... I was just weeping in a corner unable to watch the game anymore... I even missed the goal tbh... I looked up when I heard the commentary that Drogba has scored... never been as emotional in that moment... Drogba giving away a penalty, Cech saving... and the entire shootout especially after Mata failed to score... sometimes u feel like ur the protagonist of the story, but i've been through the finals against united to know that sometimes we're the villain to someone's story... we could have been the hardest defense to crack for Bayern's victory... every second of the game was that fear of losing another final... I'm grateful to all the Chelsea players, staffs for making my teenage years an amazing memory... I still cry when I see Muller's goal... I remember the sadness I felt of losing... and Drogba's goal... thank you Didier for the goal... and the winning penalty as well

2012 uefa cl final stages always gives goosebumps, everyone was expecting an el classico in the final and especially after how real and barca were going toe to toe in the league that season before ronaldos goal killed barcas hope and of course due to the peak "pep vs jose" era but chelsea having a poor league season went on to make a sensational comeback against napoli and eliminate barca in the semis whereas bayern vs real game was like a rollercoaster till it went to penalties which also had a lot to offer with neuer saving ronaldos and kakas penalty and ramos blasting it into the crowd... PS.- Also the EPL that season ended in an unbelievable manner.. Aguerooooo!!...probably one of the best seasons ever

When I watched it live (at home) I didn't cry. I felt relief, like never before. Having watched and carried that hurt from missing out time and time again between 2002 and 2012, watching the 'Old Guard' lift it filled me with glorious relief. But now I can't watch it without getting dewey-eyed and a lump in my throat haha. Forever the greatest night in Chelsea history - so lucky I was to experience it ❤

There is so much in that semi final. Barca with Pep was beaten and he would soon join Bayern, whereas Madrid with Mourinho was beaten by Bayern and he would soon be managing Chelsea again. So many clubs, people and players trying to make a point.
