Can I have some advice I had success with this tactic when moving the defensive lines back to standard line of engagement and higher defensive line but I finished 2nd and season 2 I'm playing poor away should I play more risky away from home now teams fear me so I should always be on the front foot

These tactic videos are great. What would be amazing is if you could go into a bit more detail on important attributes for the team in general, so maybe for this one work rate, natural fitness, passing, decisions, not everything, just key. I like to have these added and listed on my squad view for each tactic which becomes my 'DNA' and any player that doesn't meet it gets sold! Also, for key roles the best player traits to have and what not to have. Again for example on this one, the left WB, DLP and AP, what traits suit the roles and what doesn't as I've seen they make a massive difference on how the team performs in the tactic. If you do take this suggestion, please do it for this tactic and just suggest in the comments! Keep up the great work 👍

17 games in Bundesliga sat on 49pts and got 16 pts in CL group. Lewa has 31 goals in 20 apps and just secured Mbappe for next season! Very well balanced tactic. Found that switching to balanced mentality away from home against big boys helps as well as adding a proper corner routine rather than mixed.

For the next tactic, can you show us more highlight from the goal that scored from a successful final thirds transition/build up with all the passing pattern and player movement that you intended to create? Not just goal from longshot, high-pressing counter attacks, and Davies running so fast to the byline and cross to Lewandowski. The reason why I don’t do that is because the video will be too long. I used to show that stuff before but most people used to skip it and nobody watched the full video

But in this video, I did show the build up stage with the 3+1 shape & the wide overloads. & thank you for your comment 🤝 Most goals aren’t scored from positional attacks. Long shots are too a part of Nagelsmann tactics and he encourages them

Oh, I see. It seems that people find the explanation of the tactic and the stats more interesting than seeing how the tactic is translated into FM animation. Isn't it? Sorry for my English. I mean you could show the speeded-up highlight like in this video. But my problem is, one of the goals is from a set-piece situation where the sane just took a long shot from a rebound when the opponent's defense is still scrambling from the free-kick. I think that goal has nothing to do with the tactics. If Long shots are part of the tactic, please pick the goal highlight from an open play. I still hope that I can see more goal highlight even if it was speeded-up. Thank you.

231 seems to be solid in every version of FM. Looks like FM22 is no exception. 90 goals seems a bit low for a quality side like Bayern but the goals conceded was excellent. Certainly can't complain about the Trophies haul though!

Hello RDF-Tactics, I’m writing you from Germany and I’m really enjoying your tactical analysis/videos about Football Manager 2022 (and also 2023). Especially the 4-2-3-1 from Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern München. He’s not the manager anymore, but may you consider doing a video about the 3-5-2 (or 5-2-2-1) he played lately at the club before he got sacked? I think there are not so much tactics for this kind of formation in the internet and Bayern Munich has a nice squad for this. I hoped the suggestion/challenge is an option for your future content. When you use this tactic with an other team, shouldn't it be a left foot player on right wing and a right foot player on left wing because of the Inside Winger roles?

Don't know if RDF is going to awnser himself. But normally yes, you want a good left foot on the right and vice versa. For myself I also use a right footed player on the right when his left foot is fairly decent, again and vice versa.

I been struggling a bit in my first epl save on fm22 and got sacked at the bottom of the epl 😂 now got a second job after using various tactics n being poor n conceding loads I got fed up trying to create a new tactic to work so I just started using this tactic just won back to back epl games :D thanks dude

Bayern In real life is ridiculous, merciless. Benfica was able to hold them for 70 min, then scored 4 in a 5 min… In FM 22, you can probably win everything with Bayern playing in a 442, 343… 0-5-5! Their crazy

Couple of injuries at the start of the save and lack depth in some areas. Sule and Tolisso don’t renew their contracts so need replacing. I’ve brought Skriniar, Ginter and Adeyemi in while offloading Sule to Newcastle.

Just because of counter pressing? Every top team uses a variety of counter pressing right now in rl it's just the best thing to do if you have the right players. I don't get why people complain about it

what i did was use two DM one as a segundo volante on attack and the other a DM on def. the right back on fb def, and the left back as a CWB in att. The right winger as @rdf tactics have it but my left winger, i alternated with ap on att or IW on attack with the sit narrow and for the CF, i used an F9 and the AM a shadow striker. the TI is where i was not sure how Bayern Progressed the ball though. Using it with a Doetmund save and so far its been wonderful. i will see if i can incorporate specific aspect of yours like playing narrow.

@@Timbone07 yeah but recent times have been more ellaborate. and withthe number of key passes per game (not from the scisport stats but the individuals immediately after game) i get to know my tactics work. when its not recreation that is. recreation you have to watch the posional movement if its the same as it is IRL

Looks like a great tactic. I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with some quick advice. I've been playing FM touch (PC) for a while but I've gone back to full fat FM and I'm overwhelmed. It's training schedules that are massively confusing me at the moment. Is there a way to get the assistant manager to set the schedules? if so, how? Thanks in advance.
