Spreadsheet creator is a superstar. If you don’t have a KZbin series for this save, you must make one. Update the people each year on the big news and things that went down. Hell, if you’re not the type to make this kind of content, maybe you could partner with someone. Such a beast of a project, it needs more recognition for sure

Dane as well. In my save currently (10 seasons in), I play in the Danish league, and apart from my team (Vejgaard), they are by far the better team. FCK always spends the money, but Nordsjællands youth department always spits out very good players.

Copenhagen always ends up using way too much money in the beginning, and then ends up in the position where it's purchasing bad players on way too high wages, once their current players leave.

@@MrCatters. he definitely used the editor. Those players don't go to Ajax unless they are not playing at the big club they're at... which normally doesn't happen for all of those. And Festy Ebosele probably doesn't have the potential to ever be worth 60m

That first save. Like me as a ocd football obsessed kid before the internet would spends hours reading encyclopaedia’s on football reading random stats from random teams in 4th tiers I’ve never heard of etc. this guy has literally made his own encyclopaedia in the form of a spreadsheet for a fantasy universe. That is amazing work

Doing a save with my beloved AEL im Greece. Bought 5 guys that i scouted live at the AFCON u17 and i am in love! Got promoted and won the cup. Respectable performance in the Conference league. Still not beating the top 5. But my lovely African youngsters becoming club legends. Ah the feels

i would assume the league vs cup winners would be the winners of the community shield for example where the winner from the league faces the winner of the fa cup or runner up etc

I also just want to say, I started a save with Leeds the other day, and 16 matches in, Norwich are unbeaten, I was sat middle table, being very unlucky in front of goal. We played against Norwich without a win in our last 4... We beat them and since then, the lads will not stop scoring. I love and hate this game ha.

Hey, it's Tatigan! Realise I'm commenting on this a month late but just wanted to say thanks to Zealand for putting it in the video, I was genuinely so happy to see my silly little save featured! Been away from it for a while but just got back and look set to secure Premier League survival! The Antony signing was a fantastic meme but he's been hit and miss, so I'll be selling him on for a big profit at the end of the season. Sibeko is a very good player, not been great as I hoped but he's got so much room for development. It is, as Z said, a great time. Thanks for reviewing it!

one of my best saves was a career with Lisburn in N Ireland (because they are called Distillery) and went undefeated my first season securing promotion and then my second season finished in a playoff position lost it then rage quit when next season my team fell apart for no apparent reason

Hey Zealand a quick scenario you could highlight: I have my current striker going through his breakthrough or rather nuclear bomb season like the dude got 42 goals scored by December and bangs in hat tricks every other match. On the flipside i've my backup striker who's demanding more playtime which at the moment i feel i absolutely can't give him as i don't wanna risk breaking my main striker's momentum and then struggle for goals as my team is first and fighting for promotion while largely overachieving thanks to the striker mostly. I rejected the playtime demands and he went on to turn half the team against me in the midst of a promotion battle. Meanwhile my team is struggling financially so i can't release the backup striker on a free, no team would pay a cent for him given his current form and wage demands and the board doesn't let me sell him below a certain amount i feel no club is willing to pay and im also struggling to loan him while continuing to pay his wages, in short i can't get rid of this dude who's destroying the atmosphere in a season where i feel i can get to the first division with an underdog team... what would be the most suitable course of action here?

Since some people are sharing, my best ever save was my first ever full save in FM23, I took over Newcastle in the first season, signed Olmo, Rabiot and some Brazilin leftback from Zenit who I can't remember the name of, I just did a normal gegenpress with the right dm at cm and the rw at rm since I made a dumb promise to Rabiot about playing position and I somehow won the league convincingly over Man City in season 1. I then fell apart in season 2 and got sacked in November but it was still quite a cool thing.

I'm doing a Bhutan Build a Nation save, basically with a fair few Asian leagues loaded in I am playing in Bhutan and trying to turn the Bhutanese league into the best league in Asia but I am also trying to develop Bhutan into a team that can make the World Cup.

I have been doing the san marino one on fm22 just over 60 seasons in and we are 6th european league in coefficient and 50th in world rankings but have never won a knockout game in a major tournament… have won the champions league with a san marino side (folgore falciano) 23 times though. These saves are incredibly good fun and I hope you continue to have as much enjoyment as I have with mine!

@@benficademacaufan Just started it, we have already managed to win the second tier and the first tier of Bhutanese football and now we may be getting to the first round of the Asian Confederation Cup(so second tier of the Asian Champions League system) and if we get past the playoff which I think shouldn't be the hardest, I think the AI can be very silly at times playing low strength sides in Asian competitions and using tired players. I will take a bit of a hit in the league though by resting my better players for the Asian competition, but I am preparing for that by hiring a decent substitute group of players who will be able to play okay in the league while my main team plays in Asia and I am also allowing myself another set of rules just to make it more possible, and that is my own version of dynamic youth rating, with certain milestones I use the in game editor to upgrade the youth rating of Bhutan aka first team to get Basic youth facilities allows an upgrade of 2 points to Bhutan's youth rating, these give the most and for each stage of the continental competitions we get a single point of youth rating for a win until we pass the stage itself, so if we win our home leg of the playoff for the confederations cup I add 1 youth rating point but if we win the second playoff leg then I get that single point but no points to youth rating of the country are gained from the South Asian playoff anymore. So it allows for the quality of player to eventually get better thus making it a tiny bit easier. Also international achievements will also do the same but I suspect the youth rating will not hit above 60 with my system because we start with 4 youth rating in Bhutan

@@lordjustinian2913 really good idea, I’m going to miss the AFC Cup though. I might try your points thing when I return to Macau. The reason my save got stale was we got stuck in the champions league group stage year after year after winning the AFC Cup. My international players were great but my domestic Macanese players just weren’t good enough and my board was refusing to go professional. I love saved in lesser known leagues in Asia, good luck 🍀

@@benficademacaufan Well I made the decision to do that points system because I knew that it would be almost impossible otherwise, although for me the Bhutan board of my club is actually pretty good, I think they will want me to upgrade the facilities because I am defining the club image myself and any Bhutan club going professional will also add youth rating points as well because that basically signifies the state of football is improving in the country. So basically anything that you think should affect the quality of a lower tier footballing countries players and system is something that can give you points in my own dynamic youth rating. So basically you gotta have a first to be able to do that which means dynamically bigger nations will actually not get any points to youth rating because most of them have professional clubs or a single team with state of the art youth facilities or training facilities or exceptional youth recruitment.

3:15 Norway second place in a WC would be WILD in real life. The best WC preformance was in 1998, a late 2-1 group stage win over Brasil resulting in a Top 16, only to be knocked out by Italy in that round. And that's the last time Norway have been to a world cup. Our top goal scorer in WC history is a penalty shooter with 2 goals.

i kinda get the first save because after a while in any save your team becomes too good to have to worry about winning games and titles, and it becomes more about living in a future football world. i find myself clicking through news items and watching international finals to pass the time.

The issue with the San Marino challenge and getting top talent to play for the national team. Usually, if you are among the best teams in the world, even your prospects are national team level for their original national team and will be called up before they can become San Marinese... A step lower in talent might be the best, initially.

The save with Sevilla reminded me of my first ever save that i took from FM23 to FM24. i went to atletico in 2028 and fought real madrid for titles every year, even finishing level on 102 points once. sadly i lost that save as FM is the only game on earth that doesnt automatically upload your saves to cloud. thankfully i got to win their first ever ucl the season before i lost the save ☺ edit : i also got fired by spurs at the start of the save like the person later in the video LMAO

As an ajax fan myself, who does loads of ajax saves, 34-0-0 is incredible, but if you know the players semi well, you can easily win ucls in 3-5 seasons

hello zealand, i've recently found your channel and i've also recently got into fm, and being a bologna supporter i'd love to see a rebuild of the team. we just qualified for the ucl after 60 years and it's an historical achievemnte for us, so this is day 1 of asking for a bologna rebouild. thanks for your videos :)
