it was a disguise that worked with enzo. enzo thought and bayonetta thought that it was all about the stone but it was really the being. bayonetta feared her memories, the biggest toll on her life was when her mother being killed during the war. those were the last things she remembered before being sealed by jeanne (isla del sol part).

Nope, its actually completely anatomical correct. There was an interview with the woman who designed her. She payed much attention to the fact that her body is as natural as possibe. It comes off as ill shaped, since we are just not that used to see properly proportioned woman in videogames most of the time ;)
