Quran is “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَة” and it is a inseperable fusion of LAW and MORALITY. But dont forget these two words when ever used together in QURAN are always refered to QURAN. Jazak Allah kher Beautifully explained.

“ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ” They came together 10 times and each times they referred to QURAN. These words mentioned in Aayat 2:129, 2:151, 2:231, 3:48, 3:81, 3:164, 4:54, 4:113, 5:110 and 62:2. These two words whenever came together in Glorious Quran they do not mean the book and wisdom but a combined unit as "The Book with Wisdom" or "The Book of Wisdom" revealed on Prophet Muhammad PBUH that we call QURAN. Torah can be called "ٱلْكِتَٰبَ" and it can mean LAW and Injeel also have wisdom "ٱلْحِكْمَةَ" this word in isolation can be translsted as WISDOM but “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ” together should not or cannot be refer to Torah and Injeel. In Surah Al Baqarah Ayat 129 Allah SWT tells us the prayer of Prophet Ibrahim PBUH and Prophet Ismael PBUH رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ O Rabb, appoint from among them a Rasool who shall recite to them Your Revelations and teach them the Book with Wisdom “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ” and sanctify them; surely, you are the All-Mighty, the Wise." We know that Allah SWT fulfilled this prayer of them and Prophet Muhammad PBUH sent as Rasool among the progeny of Prophet Ismail PBUH and Prophet Muhammad PBUH taught us Quran meaning “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ”. In surah Al Baqarah Ayat 151 Allah SWT addressing people كَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًا مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْلَمُونَ Since We have sent you a messenger from among yourselves reciting to you Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book of wisdom, and teaching you what you never knew Here again “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَة” is referred to glorious Quran. If you read all above Ayat I mentioned “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ” is always referred to Glorious Quran. Allah SWT mentions about Prophet Esa PBUH addressing Maryam PBUH وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ Allah will teach your son the Book of Wisdom, the Taurat (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel) Here Allah SWT uses the words “الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ” meaning Quran so how can Prophet Esa PBUH learn Quran before it is revealed on Prophet Muhammad PBUH? Surely, he came almost 571 years before the birth of Prophet Muhammad PBUH and he did not learn “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَة” on his first arrival thus when he come again Allah SWT will teach him “ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَة” meaning Quran. This is sufficient argument to prove the second coming of Prophet Esa PBUH and Allah SWT will teach Quran to him miraculously. In Surah Yunus Ayat 1 and Surah Luqman Ayat 2 Allah SWT mentions "These are the verses of the Book of Wisdom" "الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ" So in my humble opinion Quran is Book of wisdom “الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ” and when these two words come together in Quran they should not be translated seperately.

Very well explained.... Law n Wisdom were together but we splited it😢we only focused on RITUALS but didn't understand the real essence of Rituals... Allah guides us to perform Rituals n have PROPER WISDOM,Ameen. QURAN is really FULL OF WISDOM but we only FOCUS on how to say words in a specific tone...if we had focused more on REAL PHILOSOPHY of QURAN,our situation would have been completely different from where we are standing today 😢😢 May Allah Guides us on Righteous path❤.Ameen.

The Quran, the words of Allah teaches us both SubganAllah. 5:10 A note, that the last book of Allah, the Quran, is for the entire humanity and not just Muslims. There are many specific times when Allah is addressing everyone, times when just addressing people who call themselves 'Christians' and times when Allah is addressing just the descendants of Nabi Yaqub A.S (jews) or as Allah refers to them in the Quran as 'bani Israeel/Children of Israeel' which is another name of Nabi Yaqub A.S. AND of course there are times when Allah is speaking only to the Muslims and even only to Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. Allah even speaks to the disbelievers many times and asks thought proving questions to implore them to reason. The Quran is for everyone to read so please read it, your heart and mind will be illuminated🤍

Can anyone clarify the point where the wife who get divorced right before the husband die will not get the inheritance? In my understanding, there's still iddah period and she will still be entitled to the inheritance during this period. Please cmiiw. Thanks

The husband's death nullifies the requirements for iddah etc and therefore "finalises" the divorce.

NAK, thanks for this wonderful piece. But however, I think your interpretation of hikma as morality may be a literally interpretation. A deep meaning for hikma may mean equity, while kitab is justice. Equity differs from justice as you know. The fission of justice and equity are the main crux of kitab and hikma. I hope I make sense.

Where do you think the content of ahadith came from? It originated from Quran. That's why. Believe me or not, there is more wisdom found in the Quran, than the ahadith. Quran is the Book of wisdom, ahadith are man-made recollection of Sunnah and other events, some true, some contextual, some not. Best is to acquire Wisdom from the Book of Wisdom and 100% Authentic Book and then go towards other sources.
