Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan's teaching style is so addictive that after watching his DreamBig Intensive 10, I went through different other channels (almost 30) to proceed further but could not find a single one getting into my mind and so I couldn't watch any of their videos more than 1 video. Then I came back to bayyinah to watch that again and again. May Allah make me afford the subscription soon!

My financial crisis started post covid. As i try to regain it i got married and then divorced in span of 05months(leaving huge chunk of loan on my head). A year later to it i lost my job, my savings. My family disavowed me.. none asked or cared. I’m an expat so my work permit also expired. Applied over 1500 places yet rejected. I starved for days or at times weeks. I took some money asking everyone, as i can’t leave this country due to car lease on my name. Everything everything drowned in front of my very eyes. I prayed (i used to pray usually) i do tahajjud, astaghfar, cried in the nights for mercy or help. Being tawakkal i did everything. Yet no response. What u suggest? Coz since last 09months im on sabr. What else i should do?

Brother you're just starting Sabr...be patient, let me tell you of course you know well this before. Prophet Ibrahim waited for more than 2000 years for Muhammad s.a.w.s to come, Prophet Yaqub a.s (Jacob) did sab for more than 40 years, Prophet Yousuf a.s. (Joseph) did for forty years to meet his father Prophet Yaqub a.s (Jacob) and brother, Prophet Ayyub a.s. was tested with sever illness and he was patient for 18 years and Prophet Isa and Moosa and many others did the same. The list goes on and on. Please don't lose hope. May be it'll be for that Allah Almighty wants you to be close to him and improve yourself spiritually and it's also possible that there is something greater for you in this world or in the hereafter (for sure). Be patient and may Allah keep you strong and help you. If you watch this video it will be also helpful. There is great lesson in this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4KWfY2YZ8-Ubpo

Assalaamualaykum some advice be thankful for what you have everyday, you have countless blessings in your life. in the Qur'an 14:7 surah Ibrahim verse 7 And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, If you are grateful, I will surely increase you in favor but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe. So continue to be grateful and Allah will increase your favor and do not doubt that Allah can help. insha'Allah this helps

genuine q - how does NAK know so amateurishly little about the exegetical tradition and has yet spent probably more than 20 years claiming to be speaking authoritatively on the Quran (and made a lotttttt of money therefrom) and instructing others thereby (at cost)? i hope he sees this and actually answers it, but i will not hold my breath. edit: i replied the following to adildoloo4619, but my comment keeps disappearing, so i'll post it here 1. an anonymous account doesn't automatically mean bad intentions or poor comprehension, however you mentioning that as if it is something discrediting of my points speaks more about your intentions and comprehension than mine. i like my privacy so have an anonymous account. there is nothing wrong with that :) 2. i did not question his credibility baselessly, but rather genuinely asked a pertinent question from the facts: he evidently knows very little about the core fundamental texts in the field he has made his name, fame and money, and die hard students like you that can't even assess a basic argument and statement fairly and accurately without getting all angry and anrrogant 3. it is not obtrusive when it comes to him being a public figure acting as an intellectual authority on the Quran - which is the revelation of Allah, and i have every right to ask relevant questions to people claiming to speak in its name, whereas no one is above questioning - though your comment makes it seem you think he is 4. i never questioned his knowledge of arabic, so you mentioning that is totally irrelevant, and makes it seem like you think arabic alone is enough to be commenting on the Quran (and charging for it too) - WRONG 5. a person doesnt have to openly claim to be an authority when they are taking money for giving you information regarding a topic they are by default claiming expertise. you can't even understand this and are trying to act all smug and clever. if i charged people for medical advice, and took their money for it, then even if i do not openly say i am an authority, i am claiming it by my actions. 6. again, i did not say he needs to know everything, but i think you have a problem reading simple sentences. i said he doesnt know fundamental basic texts. 7. you claim he only regurgitates one scholar's words to the masses - but this is bad, not good, when it comes to Quran, as a person should learn all of the fundamentals, and not just one, two or three books, before taking money for teaching as an authority - especially when it comes to the book of Allah, and concerning the fate of people's akhirah 8. there is nothing arrogant about questioning him on a youtube page where there is a comments section exactly for the reason i am using it - to comment on the video presented, and in the video presented here, he shows his ignorance of fundamental books 9. you my friend need to learn better, and behave more humbly, as is clear from all of my points in response to you :)

Oh, here you are with an ambiguous, fake profile, questioning the credibility of a Qurān and Arabic tutor. I'v been one of the Dream course students of ustādh NAK for the past 3 years. When you become one, you'll get your answers, but just to ease your obtrusive curiosity, ustādh has never claimed to be an authority on the Qurān or any religious scripture. He has always referred to scholars in this field and he has his own library too. Just because he may not have known some books on exegesis does not make one question his knowledge of Arabic. He has strived to explain books written by Arabic scholars like Dr Fadel Al Sammarāi in simple English language for the common audience to comprehend the beauty of Arabic and the Qurān. The way you have mentioned the "cost" element is as if he has been ripping people off with Harvard-Oxford fees. Is $11/month even something to be a topic of concern??? Most of us have been benefitting free from sponsored and shared subscriptions for years. Never underestimate his wisdom and apparent unawareness of the existence of some scholarly works. One does not have to necessarily know each and every religious text written on the face of the earth to become eligible as a Qurān or Arabic teacher. He teaches WHAT he knows, which he has verified from hundreds of scholars he has met throughout his life. He has not undergone any formal, traditional University graduate or masters training in exegesis as far as I know, presuming some "fundamental" books (as you claim) are a part of the curriculum of such Universities. If anything, be humble and contact him in private so that you can satisfy your curious mind.
