I love your videos Baz. I have my VW UP serviced by the local VW main dealer in N. London. Sadly, I suspect their technicians are not as meticulous as you are. Cheers, and keep producing the great videos. Have a good weekend too😀.

Great tip for doing brakes, bleeding old fluid out. Every day is a learning day I myself always bleed after new pads, but will now do both. Thanks ( home mechanic)

I like looking in the background of your videos, reminds me of the garage I worked in for 25 years now retired.

Great work. Shame customer has never heard of hosing, or better still jet washing out their wheel arches! Filthy.

Interesting comment on pumping out the rear brakes before closing the epb I've done it both ways over the years as opinion seems divided on the correct way, however from now on it's pump the pedal then close the service function.👍👍

great ,next question some people say engine flush just breaks up any deposits and causes more issues where is the data on what you say ..thanks
@simonbailey21518 ай бұрын
Well, old engine oil is definitely acidic. I suppose one way to check would be to take thre samples: pre-flush, post-flush and then immediately post oil change, send them off for analysis and check for acidity. Baz, there’s definitely a video in that for you, mate! By the way I use engine flush pre oil change on a vehicle new to me if I’m not sure of its service history. If it’s been with me for a while and had regular oil changes I think the necessity isn’t there.

Shouldn't the discs also be replaced aswel as the pads on the front...🤷♂️

@@MadMurdock69 never knew that, I know if you replace the discs you always put new pads on, I've replaced pads before and the discs were perfect, never had any issues.

@tonyrice3348 In my experience when I've had pads renewed I've also renewed the disc's..
