The whole band is a new band now bruh! The only one left from the original band IS Benjamin. He won the lawsuit to keep the band's name and even with a whole new crew, they still have that BB sound. I love how you comment on the drum fill panning from left to right because that's an underappreciated thing in rock music. Great producers design the mic setup around the snare so that it's centered in the audio and so that stuff on the right side of the kit naturally pans slightly to the right and vice versa. When it comes to 808s and other electronic drum mixers, a lot of musicians don't take the time to do that so everything sounds like it's obviously electronic instead of having that distinct analog production style.
