Welcome to my Big Band Blues Jazz Guitar Lesson. For this style we use upper structure chords mainly. I'll show you how to embellish your Bb Jazz Blues Guitar Chords, using choromatic shifts to achieve a Big Band like sound.
I'll show you each of the Jazz Blues chords guitar note for note, slow and easy and there is also a slow tempo playthrough at the end of this Bb Jazz Blues Guitar tutorial.
Upper structure voicings are usually used for chord solos or short breaks. But if you want to play Big Bands style, you also use them for Jazz Blues Comping in Bb.
As usual I made the Bb Jazz Blues guitar chords TABS PDF, which you can download from the link in this description box. I also provide you with two Jazz Blues Backing Track in Bb major. One is at regular tempo, the other one is a Bb Jazz Blues Backing Track slow.

I do much wooden I could offer Spanish subtitkes. I hope one day KZbin can do that automatically. It already recognizes English and out subtitles there. Thru would just have to auto translate. That shouldn't be too hard for them to implement.

I actually use a lot of upper chords in my arrangements. Probably more than any other arranger. Upper chords make life easier, but the drawback is a lack of bass.

Almost. I have a special Freddie Green Style Blues in Bb lesson up here too. The difference is the strumming (and comping chords instead of KY upper chords are used). Check it out (type "Blues in Bb Swing Style guitarversum" into the YT search field to find it.
