Why don't some of you crybabies accept the fact that both Maxine and Kylie both extended streaks for the Philippines that year in the Big Four (Universe, World, International Beauty and Earth) major pageants. Maxine is one of eight Filipinas who is part of eight consecutive years with a place in MU since 2010. Meanwhile, Kylie's Miss International 2016 title helped the Philippines extend their Big Four title winning streak to four straight years, tying with Venezuela in the process at that tme. Kylie's Miss International 2016 title also helped the Philippines have a fifth straight year with a Big Four title when fellow Bb. Pilipinas 2016 batchmate Karen Ibasco won Miss Earth 2017. In conclusion, stop acting like Miss Universe is the be all and end all.

Sometimes they sent the candidates to the wrong pageant! In that year if Nicole pick Hillary instead of Donald, she wins the crown because Hillary is popular at that time👌and in that year also people are very harsh with Maxine , they want her to use interpreter . They didn’t know that Philippines is known to the whole world that Filipinos can speak English even though mostly speak basic English! They downgraded the capabilities of Maxine.

Also, the majority of the fans really want Kylie Verzosa to win Miss Universe PH 2016, but don't know these facts: 1. Only one country has won back-to-back Miss Universe titles and that's Venezuela in 2008 and 2009. 2. @@DAN-lo7fz I've seen way worse PH bets in Miss Universe before that were complete whiffs like Jennifer Barrientos over Karla Paula Henry in 2008 and Bianca Manalo over the disqualified Sandra Seifert in 2009. Also, I rather judge Philippine pageantry as a whole with every pageant in play especially in the Big Four ranks instead of dead red with Miss Universe.
