How many attempts did those lip slides take? I went there yesterday after watching this and it took me 45 minutes to get a proper backboard on it. You made it look easy but I kept getting the weirdest pop out on it. Fun spot, was having a good time but a gang of children with airsoft guns took over and I fled before doing much more haha
@BradCrom3r2 күн бұрын
oof yeah that place cant get pretty crazy. i wouldnt recommend going there solo. lipslide was first try, back lip was two or so tries, and switch lip took like 5 tries maybe. i still cant properly pop off my left foot.

Yo Brad, you definitely have a future in being a DP for a movie or some kind of production as well as sound design and editing. You just have the gift to make everything look and sound cool.

haha, i definitely enjoy filming and editing. but i like the simplicity of it done with an iphone and imovie. im not tech enough for much past that.

@BradCrom3r2 күн бұрын
@@drestaz thank you, i love that these vid inspire you. you dont have to worry about me going “full youtuber”. ive been filming, editing, and posting edits on this channel for 14 years now. long before the word “youtuber” was a thing. you will never hear me say”what’s up guys” or “this video is sponsored by squarespace”. im not copying anyone else’s format of video. id like to think im in my own lane with style of videos i make. im just doing what feels natural / staying busy here in miami while i dont have a day to day filmer.
@drestaz2 күн бұрын
@ thanks for responding. nice yea i figured you wouldnt its just theres a lot of pros doing it nowadays and i dont want you to feel pressured into doing that. we love what you do here and your format is you. keep doin it. 👍 respect from vancouver.

love the sw fs shuv, whats your secret to getting it to spin like that
@BradCrom3r22 сағат бұрын
im not sure. i think i found the perfect foot placement for them. find that sweet spot for your back foot and then front foot kinda just leaves the board at the right time. that trick is really fun and takes little effort. even tiny sw front shuvs are fun too.

imovie, importing clips has an “audio only” option!
@BradCrom3r3 күн бұрын
i just use my iphone 11 and imovie. i detach the audio from most clips and bring it out in the beginning and end. and then i fade each end. that way there is no dead air. it makes the video more seamless to watch in my opinon.

@BradCrom3r3 күн бұрын
my big toe folded under my foot running up to throw down for a trick. it popped and i fell. and then it popped a few more times walking to the van after. very very painful. so it looks to be a sprain and some sort of dislocation. it still feels pretty weird. but was told by the doctor that i can start messing around on a board.

Hit spots and other towns city’s in your area find a solid crew to skate with link up with time to time
@BradCrom3r3 күн бұрын
i dont always skate alone. some days i choose to. especially when i just want to mess around and film some stuff for one of these edits. some days it can be very therapeutic and some days it just isnt fun at all. i dont really force it. coming back from this big toe sprain, id rather be alone and going at my own pace. that way if i feel like im pushing it too hard, i can just go home and not feel guilty bailing on anyone. id say if its not feeling good to be solo that day, just call it. you dont wanna get hurt out there alone either. try going to some local parks you maybe havent been to recently. maybe there are some ppl there you can connect with. just do what feels right.

ahh thanks so much for themsupport over the years. man that grind felt crazy. i was try a line with fakie back tail and got into front crook on accident. ive tried a few since that and dont think i got it. also there no way thos ledges still grind. even back then they barely grinded. and i out a lot of work into getting those going. cheers man 🤜🤛
