Bhaiya, I would also love to hear you on another misconception: that if you do take up a specialised course like Economics Honours/BBA/BFIA/BBE etc,they would restrict you to some limited options - the topmost being MBA which is very risky because India is full of MBAs. And there is no surety that you would clear CAT to land in a good IIM. So, kul mila ke you will be reduced to a low profile job because that's what you get in this era of unployement and a bursting population unless you study in SRCC/Hindu/St Stephen's/SSCBS which is nearly impossible this year because of biased and partial marks awarded and huge cutoffs despite having worked hard.

U will get good placements In christ, symbiosis, st Xavier, nmims as well but the main thing is the masters u have to get into top 15-20 colleges for MBA which is no doubt pretty hard don't expect an undergraduate degree to pay u a extravagant salary in INDIA

Hello my brother has been selected for bcom hons in nmims indore, he had commerce only in 12th standard so we could not apply for nmims mumbai, should he pursue this course? also he has been shortlisted PI in symbiosis pune and noida ? Can we keep nmims indore as a backup? Or we can go for bba via any nearby college? Nmims offers its brand name this is why i am asking this question.
