Best thing for love to do is keep a hand mirroring his vision of the court and jump while using his size to contest the shot when he pulls up.

That Irving shot and the LeBron block was the stuff of legend. Definitely one of the best plays of all time. Unanimous MVP blatantly outplayed by LeBron and his second best player. Yeah he wasn't fully healthy, but no one was saying that when he plays well. LeBron cemented his legacy, did the impossible and no one can say NOTHING now. Haters will still be haters, but they're just bitter. I bet Ayesha Curry is putting more salt in her recipes now.

Yeah i agree. Curry only had four turnovers, less than LBJ, but I definately think that two of his turnovers would not have happen had he made better decisions. The one behind the back pass was obvious. There was another no look underhand pass that went straight to a cavs player. Considering they only lost by 4 pts, those 2 TOs are huge.

+Roosevelt Fevrier Uh, no, Curry had a fairly poor finals performance But he scored 30+ in the last 3 WCF elimination games. 27.9 ppg 6.3rpg 5.9apg 2.1spg on 60 TS% in the entire WCF. Those are mvps numbers. Stop propagating the myth of Klay carrying Curry to the finals.. He only did it once in game 6. Remove Curry's performance in game 6 (31 point 9assists 10rebounds), Warriors lose as well. Remove Curry's performance in game 5 (31 points, 7rebounds 6 assists 5 steals to Klay's 27points 5 rebounds 2 assists with worse efficiency) Warriors lose in game 5. And of course in the crucial game 7. Curry scored 36 points to Klay's 21 on 54.2FG% to Klay's 36.8%. With 8 more assists and same number of rebounds as well.
@Rossi15ification

Albert number Never lie. But for Curry his numbers lies. Most of the time he gets his points on mismatch. He be getting clamp by guards but using switches n screen he end up with lots of points. Klay, green were the man for most this playoff

The warriors' teamball I loved so much, since it was similar to my Spurs' one, disappeared in this series: there was literally no movement of the ball and no runs by the players without the ball. They didn't even seem to be the same team that went 73-9 Cleveland deserved it, I'm so happy for Kyrie and Kevin who were injuried last year, for JR after watching him crying in the post game (he has become a true man thanks to Lebron too), for Jefferson who finally won it after two finals losses but the player who deserved it more than anyone was of course Lebron...Can't believe what he has been through in the past 13 years, the pressure he felt since day 1 for being called the Chosen One...You must have a strong mindset to controll everything and finally he made it!! And I'm so much fucking glad the motherfucking flopper Varejao didn't win it...He's a disgrace to the basketball

I'm not a LeBron fan, but I got to say that after beating GS down 3 games, we git to put him back in the legit conversation about being the GOAT. GS not only had the best record ever, they were supposedly on fire after beating OKC, they have one of the most complete and deepest teams we have ever seen and the Cavs have one max player that only shows up 1 out of 5 games, basically no bench whatsoever, a rookie coach coming out of a problematic locker room and Kyrie as his co-star with very limited experience in playoff games. We may have seen one of the biggest achievements ever, I thought LeBron would end up winning in Cleveland, but never in only two seasons. I thought it would take while because the west is supposedly much stronger, but LeBron doesn't play in the west

Lebron led the team in EVERY category. Back to back 41 point games in elimination, scored 11 in the 4th quarter and 8 straight before kyrie hit that 3 in game 7. He also had a triple double in game 7, only the first person to do so and win at the same time. Lebron was the chef but kyrie put the frosting on the cake. Without lebron, this team isn't smelling the ECF, let alone finals.

If you pause at 13:10 you can see Green pushing James backward and if you then pause at 13:11 at just the right moment you can see both players violently falling backwards which implies that Green used a significant amount of force to push James backward yet James had such powerful forward momentum that it knocked Green backward. Green is not even remotely close to blocking the shot and makes contact at James' shoulder. The resulting heavy contact results in James' injury. I have two questions for basketball experts on this play/call 1) Does it appear that Green simply "missed the ball" or does it appear that Green was attempting to stop James' from making this shot at all costs? Given Greens' history I believe this is a warranted question. I am not suggesting that Green was intentionally attempting to injure James with this contact, if anything I am wondering if she is essentially attempting a flagrant foul on the play? 2) While reviewing this play does this warrant either a technical or a flagrant? James even being able to shoot a free throw after this injury is inhuman..I figured he had broken his wrist and based on his reaction it is evident that he, at the very least, sprained his wrist and was running on adrenaline and pushed through the pain. It was a foregone conclusion in my mind that he would miss the first free throw attempt. The fact that he made the second was beyond incredible. While I am sure it has happened in the past, I have never seen contact like this while a superstar is attempting to a dunk. I think of players like Jordan or Kobe and nothing comes to mind. If we isolate this play and remove the context of the NBA championship ending just a minute later, we can stop and think about this. For fun pretend this is 1993 and that is Pippen setting up Jordan to dunk the championship sealing dunk. Green fouls Jordan in such a devastating way that Jordan is on the ground reeling in pain with potentially a broken wrist. I honestly believe that due to LeBron's strength that is the only way his wrist did not break but if that was Jordan or Kobe they likely would have broken their wrist. So I ask this question to basketball experts.. consider this play with Jordan.. and remove the moment and situation, just the play itself. This is not to hate on Green, I just simply have never seen someone commit such a dangerous play against a super star that has CLEAR path on a dunk. I have not seen a single person talk about this play in an analytical and intelligent manner, simply because the events that followed overshadowed this very important topic.

Coach How in the world can you call that blatantly missed foul call at 08:10 a beautiful block?? Are you kidding me? And talking about the Cavs running isolation only... How about Stephs isolation threes down the stretch that missed, especially the one against Love, where he could have just driven to the basket and take the easy 2. You say you were frustrated the Cavs won because the Dubs play team basketball, but in the end GS was the team jacking up iso threes, especially Curry failing to deliver the dagger that he was literally enforcing. If you wanna be considered unbiased talking about that series, you can't say you're frustrated the Cavs won. I believe you're losing credibility going forward because obviously you're praising Curry and GS whereas other teams aren't getting nearly as much credit from you.
@bballbreakdown

+FubaBuLi I praise good ball movement and team work. I also criticized those plays as they unfolded in the video. If you want to ignore the criticism I heaped on the Warriors, that's up to you, but don't question my credibility. Also, the hand is part of the ball, hence beautiful block.
@FubaBuLi
@FubaBuLi 8 жыл бұрын
All I'm saying is I believe it's two different measures. You praise Curry's D everywhere you can, while he is widely considered above average at best. How about praising Kyrie's D, or JR's D, who did quite a good job for most of the series, tbh way way better than everybody expected, particularly Kyrie. Even Love played very decent defense in Game 7, while he was at times called unbearable for the Cavs in this matchup. I'd really like to hear some positive aspects about the deciding parts of the Cavs as well. By now I'm mainly hearing what GS did wrong.

@FubaBuLi 8 жыл бұрын
Compared to the love Curry gets from you, frankly, it's not enough. I mean you literally recorded an own video of Curry defending Westbrook. The overall defensive play by Kyrie, Love and JR was a huge part in winning this series, they would have never come back from 1-3 if it wasn't for those improvements. Of course it's mentioned briefly in your vid, but considering it was one of the biggest ingredients for winning the title, you should give that more attention. Just as you would have done it if your Warriors had won.

SoosUnknown Bulls did go through it. They had to get past Detroit. The Warriors are different, they basically had to playoff appearances where nothing was expected from them and the 3rd they won the title. It doesn't happen like that. Their core is young, about the same age, and locked up. They are only going to get better and as time goes by they will improve their roster.

SoosUnknown to be honest with you, I don't think Lue figured out anything. OKC did the same thing in the WCF, but Curry's shooting % was excellent in that series. He actually shot 60% from the field when Adams and Ibaka would switch onto him. Maybe he just got wore down as the Finals progressed? I was think for some reason the refs let Cleveland grab, hold, and play extremely physical on the players moving without ball, even more so than OKC. During the season and for most of the playoffs, those were being called fouls, but for whatever reason in the Finals Cleveland was able to get away with it. I think the Warriors will make adjustments and be better for it.

7:08 Steph didn't bother Lebron into a bad miss, Lebron is just a bad shooter. To prove my point, Lebron had one open look somewhere in game 7, on the free throw line, and he didn't hit it, he was wide open. Can't be bothered to watch the rest of the video. Just wanna say that the Lebron "fuck you" 3's was my favorite play 7 minutes into this video. He first tricked Ezeli and got 3 FT, then hit a 3's right after he tricked Ezeli so that Ezeli would keep himself in check as to not fall for the initial motion, and got too late at contesting the 3's. Smart play by Lebron that coach of course wouldn't want to highlight because he's busy sucking Steph off.
@bballbreakdown
@bballbreakdown 8 жыл бұрын
+Aaron Koh of course I highlighted that play. And that shot by LeBron was from 12 feet away, it wasn't about him being a bad shooter. I'd think, as a LeBron fan, you'd want to give credit to Steph for bothering him as opposed to saying he choked
@baka825
@baka825 8 жыл бұрын
BBALLBREAKDOWN I don't think Steph really bothered Lebron if you've seen the series from game 5 onward (including the post game interview and whatnot). Lebron has kept his composure, even smart enough to taunt Draymond and Steph into playing in his pace. Based on his off court showing too, he was trying to get into the Warriors' head. Lebron has taken every chance he can to post up Steph, and the result is usually positive. I don't think he pays Steph defense any mind at all, in fact, he was eager to go against Steph's defense. So, I don't think that particular moment really bothered him. We've known, and I think Lebron himself also know that he himself can't shoot very well, that's I think part of the reason why he was not very aggressive on offense in game 7, as opposed to game 5 and 6. By the way, I am not a Lebron fan, I just appreciate his greatness, but I also know that there are things he can't do. Lebron just can't shoot for crying out loud, for whatever reason. 12 feet away or 2 feet away, I don't trust his shooting. I much prefer him to do some post up moves and just dunk it, though it's energy consuming and he doesn't have great footwork. :\

+BBALLBREAKDOWN So by that logic if players on defense just smack the opposing player's hand, it's a block right? If he touched the ball and then his hand fine, but he didn't even get part of the ball, it was all hand. Smh at your Warriors' bias Coach.

+BBALLBREAKDOWN the hand is not part of the ball i cant smack your habd and get a little ball and a foul not be called thats a reach in foul just like that was a shooting foul u cant do that its a foul and u are clearly bias

5:19 Curry's behind the back pass was perfectly reasonable given his positioning and the direction in which Klay was headed. It's just unfortunate that it was angled incorrectly. That was perhaps the most important mistake of the game, but I don't agree with people who says he shouldn't have passed it behind his back. That was in fact the most efficient pass to make. Had he turned all the way around to make the pass, it would've given Klay's defender time to get there and steal the pass.

+Innocent Bystander I agree for the most part. Most often, the best way to make that pass is behind the back...

Blackenedification. Lebron actually went 3 for 8 in the 4th quarter scoring 11 points ...the Cavs only managed to score 18 points in the 4th quarter, so lebron scored more than half of his teams points.
