I watched the video where he plays with the band before I saw this one. I smiled and head-bobbed all the way through - and I’m a gran! 😂 What a wonderful, talented young man! Comments were a bit unkind, saying it was all pre- planned- who cares?? The boy was fantastic and I really hope he gets to achieve his dreams of being involved in music his whole life! Much healthier than all the youngsters, glued to their laptops, phones and ipads!! Well done, Jake- I hope I’m still around when you achieve great success, as I really hope you do!! 🎶💖🎶

Yes, Jake played before 30,000 people at the Carfest, with the RPJ Band (featuring the son of one of the founders of Status Quo) and what is amazing, beyond his playing, is his confidence in front of the audience. His Dad is a gem, recognizing his son's talent and helping him along the way. Once Jake moves from covers to originals, he will be a monster! His command of fretwork at the age of ten is truly astounding.
