A supercut of the new studio and graphics package for BBC Breakfast which has moved into its new studio space which it now shares with BBC Sport, styled on Studio B in London.

Sally wearing what she wore this afternoon, 3rd June 2024 for the very first One O’Clock News from the same studio, which was now an hour long. Now we have Breakfast which needed a new theme tune, Sportsday all sharing the same studio as the One, when will all the other news programmes move from London to Salford?.

I like it a lot, the bright and colourful studio and graphics are very pleasant. But I think they would do well to just tone down some of the distracting animations on the screens. The movement of the blue circle particularly draws your eye away from the hosts. Also, the backdrop of the tall Salford studios feels a bit cluttered. And I'm not much keen on the standing up element, especially how it splits up the hosts.

That blue circle is totally out of place with the rest of the idents and graphics.

The old studio looked cramped and the technology was out of date. The new studio is much better but I agree that the bobbing blue circle is distracting and serves no purpose. Graphic designers generally know when to show restraint but this is just rather ill-thought out.

Studio looks 10 times better than the only one but I hate the open pan showing them crammed into a corner. The titles are still awful and need changing.
