+Derrick Field I quite agree, I loved the old shows. Dick Emery was a favourite of mine. The sitcoms and forced comedy we have now does nothing for me. Why was it that music and comedy was better in the 60s and 70s?. Top of The Pops was great, especially Pans People. At least we had those days, I feel sorry for the kids of today.

+bluegtturbo I wonder why it took so long for them to be exposed. There must have been a lot of people that knew it was going on. I suppose they were scared to say anything as Saville was a celebrity and classed as untouchable.

Sloopy .Dog I`m afraid it`s the age old question, if you are married and have a good job what do you do. Do you make a stand, against what is clearly wrong, and risk losing it, which affects your family as much as you, or do you simply keep your head down and try to get a transfer to another department. There is always a price to pay for principles, unfortunately to few of us put our heads over the parapet.
