Joan Sanderson was superb. Fawlty towers as the lady with a hearing aid. Plus she was in Me & My Girl with Richard O'Sullivan and Tim Brooke Taylor.

Joan Sanderson. A force all on her own. Dominated any scene. A fantastic actress. After Henry. And (in my humble opinion) her best character ever, the guest with selective hearing, Mrs Richards. They don’t make actresses like her anymore.

I can remember laughing at the ageing boot-boy in this as a young kid. Nowadays, I actually know skinheads and Punks who are as old as what Dick Emery and Roy Kinnear were, when they filmed these episodes.

No offence... Still at min.25 I think the producer could cast a younger husband... This One is so old...😂
