Enjoying the silence at 45:36 (one for Depeche Mode fans). Some expert work going on here to the good old Proton, my first ever experience with a computer back in 1983. CHAIN "GRANNYS GARDEN" 🙂

That board on the back of the machine with the top cut off at an angle, looks a lot like an expansion board from an Apple computer. Are they related at all? I have always loved the versatility and true expand ability of the BBC Model B. But, it was the Acorn Archimedes that really blew me away. It made the Amiga look like a toy.

Hi Nigel. Interesting video. Gutted you lost the logo 😢. These things happen.

Great 100,000 mile service. I've done dozens of speech chips and even if you get 160, it won't be quite that next time ;) As long as you are close, it will sound fine. Games like my Astro Blaster will be fine as long as 25ms of sound doesn't get eaten in 20ms ;) I've left my solidisc swram expansion in, but I might just swap it for a boobip or homemade one if it starts playing up!

Which desoldering pump are you using? I'm looking for one in my price range and that one doesn't look familiar based on color

Yes, I've started using a wireless mic now but I still have a fair bit of unedited video without!
