Well said! I'm a huge MJ fan, saw him live in 1992 when I was 13years old. The Jackson 5 were a little before my time, but still listened to their music due to my parents being J5 fans. I would never discredit the rest of the Jackson familys talent/music careers etc, just because MJ was who I enjoyed listening to more and idolised. Some people compare the Jackson siblings to Micheal. Which is absurd. Each are talented in their own way and amazing at what they do, in their own way. Artists aren't compared to other artists, the way the Jackson family are compared to each other and especially to their brother. Which is sad. Its like they have to work twice as hard. Micheal was and will always be THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME.......his siblings even acknowledge this, but these brothers were and are legends too, in their own right. They should be respected in every aspect of their music career and never compared to their brother. Like you say.....this is history! The whole of the Jackson family are a huge part of history and will be for many many years. Legends!

As a huge MJ fan, I haven't a bad word I could say about him, the Jackson 5 were a little before my time, so I can't say much about their performances/work/music, as MJ was/is who I listened too (and saw live in concert 1992) more as I was growing up. That said, I kinda feel like people who say "they're not the same without Michael, or, people only wanted to see Michael, or Michael is what made the Jackson 5" etc etc, seem to be comparing something that shouldnt be compared and not looking at the bigger picture. The Jackson 5, were amazing in a completely different way/style to Michael's solo career. The jacksons still have a huge fan base, because they are amazing at what they do. Michael was and will always be THE GOAT and yes, he was probably/more than likely, worshipped more.....but the brothers still should get credit for their own artistry and not be compared to Michael's achievements/career. For them, It must be a huge pressure having to constantly hear that Micheal is better etc etc, rather than them being recognised as extremely talented musicians in their own right. It's like any of the Jackson family, have to work twice as hard, just to recieve the recognition they deserve for their talent.....like Janet did/has, all because they are constantly compared to their brother. The reality is.....they are ALL amazing artists, in their own way.

Lol! Exactly! Deep down I think we all feel that there is some happiness for them because of all the attention. It hasn't been about the rest of the brothers since "Off the Wall" came out, and when "Thriller" came out nobody even remembered Michael had 9 other siblings! It wasn't until Janet exploded onto the music scene with "Control" that people actually remembered the rest of the siblings. I can't help feeling sorry for them though.

They couldn't go on tour 10 years ago because before Michael died nobody would go to a Jackson's tour without Michael and I highly doubt that Michael would have ever toured with his brothers again. I honestly think that they did this tour for the fans and to prove to themselves that they could still do it. Fuck todays bands, there has been a bunch of them since around 1983- 84, with New Edition on to the 1990s with the Backstreet Boys, New Kids On The Block and so on, but not one can hold a candle against The Jacksons, because The Jackson brothers did not just sing and dance, they wrote songs, played instruments, all these other " bands " never did all of that, some may have wrote some songs, but most didn't and they NEVER played instruments on stage, PLUS they weren't even related to each other, that makes a HUGE difference! The Jackson is the greatest pop, funk, R&B, band ever, and we will never see another like them no matter how long we all live, partly because it had to do with a family, a close net family, that never ran around in the streets, did drugs or sold drugs, or committed a crime, instead they just made music! And even with all the ups and downs they went through, mostly because of greedy assholes, and racists, they are still pretty well behaved people, and still pretty close! But every family has arguments, because they are HUMANS, not robots, but that doesn't mean they hate each other or even that either of them did anything really wrong to the other, it just means they are just like us all, they had good days and bad days, but they don't seem to be hurting anyone, all their kids are well behaved too, tell me how many famous peoples kids haven't gotten into any real trouble? Not many!

Jermaine is always trying too compare his vocals to Michael if you know music you can very well tell the difference jermaine is a R&B singer michael has range pop, rock and soul after Jermaine left the brothers Motown tried to make Jermaine the next marvin Gaye duet singer it did work out if you listen to jermaine with the females artist you'll hear how strong the females had to be for the sound Jermaine can start a song strong however in the middle and towards the end his vocals began to fade thats why their was different female parters motown was trying too find the best fit for Jermaine didnt work! Jermaine didn't have the diversity like Michael did. Can you imagine Jermaine trying to sing some of Michael's songs? Like for instance 'Scream', 'Who Is It', 'Dangerous', 'Leave Me Alone', 'Invincible', 'Dirty Diana', 'History'...I could go on and on. Michael graduated to a point where actually I can't imagine anyone else being able to hit those vocals the way that Michael did. And let's be brutally honest, hearing them trying to sing their ownclassic songs and giving Michael's parts to Jermaine, Marlon and Jackie, it just doesn't sound right. There is a reason he didn't have a very successful solo career. He invested his money into a shitload of recording equipment, and when his last two albums did poorly, he couldn't even afford to record anymore music. I watched one of their shows on youtube, and I was really put off. Especially when I saw Marlon dance. He obviously imitates Michael, and he does it so awkwardly that it's a bit disrespectful. Michael said it himself. If you read Rabbi Shmuley's book 'The MJ tapes', Michael says that he would be irritated and annoyed as they got older, because Marlon would try to mimic him, when they did group performances during the Victory Tour, and when Marlon tried and failed his solo career. I'm speaking in particular about the sideglide that Marlon ridiculously attempts a few times randomly during the show. Is that really necessary? It would be one thing if he could do it properly. It just doesn't sit well with me.

Erin Liggins It's all good Michael and his Sister Janet always made me proud with their music that's all I am saying I just never really looked much at the rest of the siblings they all have musical talents but God gave two of them the most recognition. That's all I'm meaning to that point.

You so called MJ fans make me sick, MJ was the definitely the most charismatic of the brothers as far as showmanship goes, BUT MJ DID'NT FUCKIN GET TO WHERE HE WAS WITHOUT HIS BROTHERS ! Who seen Michael more out of his brother's Talk to Joseph. Who made him leader and stated he has most talent out of the brothers. Really who cared much about the other brothers cause Micheal is what makes the Jackson Family much more famous. Not the older basic families. Janet is my second favorite of the family cause she also made it on her own. Now Michael knew he didn't need his brothers cause he knew they were more backup then keeping up.
