I got a 2013 SLK200 AMG package (UK spec), and it really launches with its 4 cylinder turbo. they say you needed to have the SLK300 for speed, but I think the SLK200 does the justice as well. Love the turbo after-noise from the stock exhaust, would've sound better with a loud aftermarket exhaust though.

+gobanbango the SLK 200 definitely has power and that turbo helps alot on highway pulls, but compared to the 300. the 300 has more power and better performance overall. I suggest you should get the 300, much more power but a little worse on gas though.

thank you Richard, can I say 200 is between boulevard cruiser and sporty, 300 is more sporty performance, fun to drive.I never had roaster, try to have slk before the slc replace it.

Its 2021, you can buy that car now for under $20,000... but you better find a warranty these fall apart and are expensive to repair.

I am staunch Benz fan, how ever, from the reports over past few years I do think the Japanese seems past Germans in quality and technology implementation. But most of us will agree that Germans still leads in exterior styling and sensible touches, right?

Nice relaxed review, better to let a potential buyer test the car than some spoilt journalistic hack, who just tests it on a track !!! What's with the ugly looking aerial on the trunk lid, we don't have them on the SLK in Europe, just nice clean lines and the diesel version is great !!!

What a nice guy. I like the car, but when I look at this guy I think this guy is way too 'big' for what is essentially a chick car. He needs something more muscular like the SL55 AMG.

Terra Realm I prefer the SL over the SLK but I don’t see cars as chick car or not. I see more chicks driving Trucks but that don’t make trucks chick cars 🙄
