I think the reason that this couple works to well in these skits is that they are both ‘on the same page’. Often one of them has these reactions and the other is world weary like in keeping up appearances. In these skits the are both as offended as each other which makes it even funnier that normal. dont underestimate turkey steaks, cook them gently, and they are EXTREMELY, ABSOLUTELY succulent, also massively cheaper and more convenient, just by a stack of them and freeze what you dont need. trying to cook a massive turkey and keep all of it really succulent is a LOT harder, also for the price it takes to cook it you could by a gorgeous chocolate gâteau for dessert instead, and for the money you would save on not buying a full turkey you could by a different gâteau and wines you could put several steaks on a tray and cook them in gravy similar to liver and onions, breast meat cooks very very fast, eg 10 mins very low heat. to fry each slice would take 2 minutes each and just keep them warm i myself think theres nothing worse than a big bone dry Turkey, just because there's a lot of it dosnt impress me

grahvis I had a big all glass one but the bulb went so I threw it, I then bought a smaller one with a see thru lid, very nice but once again the bulb eventually went, so I decided to get the big all glass cheap one again at £30/ £40 but when the bulb goes there cheap to replace with loads of utube vids showing how to change them, as a description of it, it's large with a very large glass bowl with various racks in it, it also has an extender ring to increase height by about 4 inches then the bulb/timer/heat controls are on the lid, it also has an auto clean just but the racks in upside down with a bit of soapy water and set it to wash (a very low heat setting but the fan spins the water slightly agitating it), you still have to wash the racks as normal but it will now just quickly wipe off instead of constantly scrubbing, these fryers are cheap and cheerful, they may even be the cheapest, as I say there brilliant for meats, you can also wrap meats in foil but I love to watch chicken drumsticks cook while boozing, you can put about 11 large on the lower rack and same again on the top rack all with bones facing the center, it also comes with a rack remover for lifting the racks out. It's a fun learning curve to experiment with it, getting it so you don't even notice the skin, but on thighs i just remove the skin when cooked. I might try putting roast taties under the chicken and let the juices fall onto the taties basting them as they cook,
