I can’t get over that John Sachs was only 32 when this was made, his delivery comes across like he’s been around decades by this point - though granted the old school presentation methods are different (better) than today. I reckon he should be approached for Countdown - a notoriously tricky role to fit since the loss of Richard Whiteley

The maze music was always memorable - it was actually recorded in Glasgow and designed to run for exactly 60 seconds to fit the maze round.
